Trump posts statement against Gov. Polis, defends convicted felon Tina Peters by: Heather Willard

DENVER (KDVR) — President Donald Trump took to his social media platform on Wednesday to call Colorado’s governor a “sleazebag” and defend former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters.
Peters was sentenced to nine years in Colorado prison in October 2024 after the election conspiracy theorist helped Trump supporters access confidential data about the 2020 presidential election. Specifically, Peters was found to have allowed an unauthorized man access to Mesa County’s secured election system.
This is not the first time Trump has taken to Truth Social to support Peters. In August, Trump wrote similar sentiments on social media. He said Wednesday that Polis has refused to release Peters from state prison into federal custody after the Federal Bureau of Prisons wrote to Colorado prison officials requesting such a move.
Trump’s post slammed Peters’ treatment by Colorado officials, specifically Polis.
“The SLEAZEBAG Governor of Colorado, Jared Polis, refuses to allow an elderly woman, Tina Peters, who was unfairly convicted of what the Democrats do, cheating on Elections, out of jail! She was convicted for trying to stop Democrats from stealing Colorado Votes in the Election. She was preserving Election Records, which she was obligated to do under Federal Law. She has now served more than one year in jail, and has eight years to go. On top of everything else, she is a cancer “survivor.” This lightweight Governor, who has allowed his State to go to hell (Tren de Aragua, anyone?), should be ashamed of himself. FREE TINA!” Trump posted.

Her “felony” as it has been discussed in media was to retain the election records, as the LAW requires (Federal Law superseding greedy little morons like the State of Co and their rigged elections). That was her “crime” as “convicted”. Convicted for following the law, to be blunt.
Exposing Democrat election fraud is a crime, don’t you know?

After all that protesting, look where it got us.
Trump cannot pardon Peters, as she was convicted of a state crime.
That leaves Trump with two options.
One, make some sort of deal with Polis to get him to pardon Peters, or at least to commute her sentence.
Two, find a reason to send in US marshals to take custody of Peters. Then get her out of Colorado.
I guess there’s a third option. Talk, but do nothing. I sure hope Trump doesn’t choose that option.
Polis is not just a sleezebag, he is a communist criminal.

Wouldn't that be funny, a gay president before a woman president.
Attorney General Phil Weiser and Senatot Michael Bennet, fellow sleazebags, are both running for governor. Please take as many votes from each other as you can.
So that leaves the door open for Dirty Jena Griswold (married to a guy named Mohamed) to run for attorney general.
