Oh My: Dem Sen. Mark Warner's Troubling Remarks About Pres. Trump and the Military

We saw Democrats start to go down a dangerous road with the video that six Congressional lawmakers released, encouraging members of the military to refuse illegal orders. They didn't cite any illegal orders, but many blasted the video as an attempt to incite the military.

The Department of War said it would be reviewing Democratic Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly's participation in the video.

Then Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) made a disturbing comment, saying there could be "consequences" for any military members who conducts a review of Kelly. Gallego also revealed he was supposed to be in the video and had received a "script."

Now, there are some troubling remarks from Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA). He's the Vice Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee. He appeared on Morning Joe on Wednesday. He was asked about the drug boat controversy, and about their planned questioning of Admiral Mitch Bradley.

“Remember, this is an administration that has treated the uniformed military with unprecedented disrespect when they were all brought to get a pep rally in front of Hegseth and Trump. This is an administration that’s fired, you know, uniform generals from the head of the NSA, the head of the Defense Intelligence agency. I think in many ways, the uniformed military may help save us from this president and his lame people like Hegseth, because I think their commitment is to the Constitution and obviously not to Trump. I expect Bradley to adhere to that.”

He thinks the uniformed military may "help save us from this president" - what the heck is he saying here? Save us from the duly-elected president because the party that isn't in power doesn't like him or the decisions he makes? We voted in this president. Again, you have this demonizing language, as though Trump is a threat, and the military has to do something to stop him.

Warner then said the military's commitment is "to the Constitution and obviously not to Trump." Again, what the heck is he talking about? Here's part of the Oath of Enlistment he seems to be clueless about:  

I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. 

Yes, you have an obligation to obey the orders of the president and your commanding officers. 

I expect Bradley to tell the truth, regardless of what the Democrats want.

Again, just as with the video by the other six lawmakers, Warner is throwing out dangerous language.

Instead of stopping this, Democrats seem to be ramping it up.

This confirms the "subtle sedition coup" Victor Hanson has been talking about lately. The Democrats aren't having a war among themselves because they're busy waging one on the rest of us. Having failed to win votes, hearts, minds and trust they're stooping ever lower to retain and grasp power; going so far as to mislead our troops to believe they can dismiss orders on the basis of personal doubts. The Seditious Six video (and the "disobey illegal orders" billboards put up around military bases) are the opening salvo that's going to get worse unless it's put down hard - and quickly.

Mark Kelly has to be made an example of while exposing him as a fool and not a martyr "to the cause". Why is he not in a brig awaiting his UCMJ hearing yet? Personally, I'd have him go on one more space mission to investigate sun spots while orbiting Mercury.

If Kelly is recalled to duty and given a general court martial over a public statement reminding military personnel they have a duty to not follow unlawful orders, Mike Flynn should be packing his bags for prison the moment a future Democrat is elected.

Here is the Big Picture.

1. The Democrats know that they are "in the wilderness" politically. President Trump is racking up successes diplomatically and economically with his investment deals, even though they won't show up visibly for another six to nine months. Democrats, on the other hand, have lost credibility from the Biden cognitive decline cover-up, the awful Harris campaign that lost $1 billion and still left the party $20 million in debt, have no leader and are floundering on competing messages as factions duel for control, and the scars from the futile government shutdown that Chuck Schumer inflicted on them to enhance his own stature within the party.

2. Inflation has returned to near-normal levels, unemployment is a tick up, but not damagingly. Energy costs are going down, which should reduce production and transportation costs for goods. Hopefully these will show up as slight price reductions, although not to 2020 levels.

3. DNI Tulsi Gabbard has been slowly building the case that the Obama administration falsified intelligence in order to manufacture the Russia Hoax to damage the incoming Trump administration. The falsified intelligence was also used to obtain FISA warrants from Judge James Boasberg and others.

4. As part of the fake intelligence scheme, James Comey leaked classified documents to the New York Times via his friend, and then lied about it to Congress. Comey is facing perjury charges over this, but the DC District Court judge threw out the indictment on a technicality, claiming that the prosecutor was improperly appointed. She dismissed the charge without prejudice, but then said that the statute of limitations are now expired and the case cannot be refiled.

5. The Trump administration is appealing this ruling, hoping to get the case reinstated, which should keep the case within the statute of limitations.

6. Tossing the Comey case was necessary for the Deep State because Comey is the weak link in the Obama conspiracy, which includes Brenner, Clapper, Rice, Strzok, McCabe, and others. If the government could have brought Comey to trial, the would have introduced evidence at his trial that would be bad news for the other co-conspirators. If convicted, Comey might be offered a deal to flip on the others.

   Tossing out the case on a technicality and then declaring the statute of limitations to have passed is how the Deep State is protecting Obama.

7. President Trump announced that DNI Gabbard has more devastating documents coming out next week, with a possible referral of Barack Obama to the Department of Justice for investigation, and possible indictments.

8. Against all of that, we have the Democrats pushing the narrative that SecWar Pete Hegseth committed war crimes, and by extension, so did President Trump.

9. The Democrats realize that the only way back from the winderness in rapid fashion is a Watergate-like investigation of the President, which last time resulted in Democrat dominance in Congress for two decades, and the White House in 1976.

10. Democrats need the narrative of a war crimes tribunal to offset the Obama "Russia Hoax" conspiracy that is expected to drop next week. This is becoming a race for dual narratives. If the Democrats can set the frame first that Trump is a war criminal, they will then say that the chargess against Obama are a distraction from Trump's own problems, or political retaliation.

11. SecDef is punching back, saying that fentanyl is a WMD that killing 100,000 youths each year. That's the equivalent of 1.5 Vietnam Wars each year in terms of deaths. President Trump believes that the Chinese are waging a multi-generational siege of the United States, softening us up by killing our future generation of soldiers today (instead of on the battlefield in 15 years) while they are still children, so that we will be weakened in a decade or two when the next generation of soldiers won't be there.

    That's the rationale for treating the drug runners as terrorists and the drugs as WMDs. The boat was double-tapped because it was still afloat, and it was possible that the drugs (likely stored in watertight bouyant containers) would be recovered by rescue ships. Therefore, the mission was to sink the boat and its contents, and the mission required two missile strikes to accomplish it. The fact that two people were clinging to the boat is collateral damage.

    By comparison, if we sent two fighter jets to use missile strikes to destroy a factory, and the first jet's missile hits the factory, but the second jet fires a second missile to hit the factory again, we don't accuse the second pilot of war crimes.

This is how I see the events playing out. The Democrats are desperate to deflect against the Obama fake intelligence charges, so they are creating a war crimes scandal to try to take Trump out first.
