Parents sue after 11-year-old girl forced to share bed with transgender student on school trip

Several Colorado parents are suing their local school district after an overnight school trip allegedly tried to place a transgender-identifying male student in a hotel room — and ultimately the same bed — with an 11-year-old girl.

Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), a conservative legal organization that advocates for religious liberty, filed its opening brief Wednesday in "Wailes v. Jefferson County Public Schools" with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit on behalf of four families.

The lawsuit alleges that the district, located near Denver, allows biologically male students to share overnight accommodations with girls based solely on gender identity without notifying parents or seeking their consent.

What’s it going to take for people to take their kids out of public schools?

Likely outcome—a Dem judge will rule it’s fine but the parents are guilty of a civil rights violation and destined for two years in a federal prison.

Again I can reference Tony Curtis in drag cozying up to Marilyn Monroe in the train bunk bed in Some Like It Hot.

Monroe: “This is fun. We can have our own party on this train.”

Curtis: “Yes. And it may even turn out to be a surprise party.”

“What’s it going to take for people to take their kids out of public schools?”

Affordability.

The buzz word these days, but Charlie Kirk was using it before it trended with Mamdani. Whether parents can either afford it money wise, or time wise.

Vouchers. You get a voucher for what it costs the district to educate the child.

You’re asking the wrong question.

i.e.,

What’s it gonna take for these woke yahoo administrators to stop messing with children?

Answer:

Fear.

Not always so simple depending on which state you live in and their voucher policies.

Better yet, take the “transgender-identifying male students” out of public school, and put them in a ‘special camp’ out behind the prison.

Over the teachers' unions' cold, dead bodies.

Hope the parents win the lawsuit. I cannot imagine a child of mine be forced to share a bed with a tranny. Sometime during the tranny reaches over and molests my child? No freakin’ way would I expect my child to go thru this monstrosity of a reality.

Or not send them on a sleepover at 11 years old? That was young for the ‘70s certainly too young now.

I’m sorry

I wasn’t clear. I was saying the solution is simple...put vouchers in place. But you have to defeat the NEA and Democrats to do that.

Yep. NEA and Democrats fight vouchers tooth and nail.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

It took far, far less for us to decide to homeschool.
