BREAKING: In a jaw-dropping revelation, Sec. Brooke Rollins found 5,000 DEAD PEOPLE getting SNAP, and 500,000 PEOPLE getting SNAP "2 times under the same name."
And that's just what they've confirmed...

When things go “SNAP”, no one sees it coming..

Welfare was getting under control after the Clinton Era welfare reforms and life time limits on welfare that Obama suspended but are still on the books.
We don't need no new laws to implement life time limits and work requirements for welfare - they are already on the book . Obama just suspended them by refusing to enforce them Which is probably not even legal.

How much fraud could be easily stopped by putting a photo on the cards, a pin number and finger print verification?

Have no idea what the typical benefit is, but if I assume $50/week at 505,000 payments - that is $1,212,000,000 a year. And theres very likely much more than the 505K being overpaid.
Phase 2 of DOGE should be paying Federal workers a commission on any fraud they find (once that fraud has been confirmed as stopped). Easy ROI on it for taxpayers.
Whoever those double dippers are should have ALL benefits PERMANENTLY denied.
Sadly, this is not a “jaw dropping” revelation. It would be a jaw-dropping revelation if SNAP was not corrupt and incredibly wasteful. Now do a story on how many people lie on the application to get SNAP benefits that they are not entitled to get. Then do a story about how some SNAP recipients are able to have a higher food budget than families who don’t get SNAP. Then do a story about how SNAP recipients use their cash to get their hair and nails done on a weekly basis because they have their food paid for. Its time to cut SNAP in half.
Except for the Dems using it to influence some lesser elections, the shutdown might actually be a big benefit to us. Look what a spotlight it shined on the disfunction of SNAP and Obamacare. And hopefully too it will be a wake up call before the mid-terms in regard to developing a proper ground game, better messaging and to a greater variety of people, focusing more on things that directly effect people’s lives, etc., while making the Dems be overconfident and draw the wrong conclusions.
SNAP is a RAT ripoff of the paychecks of hardworking Americans.
What if they are 7 feet tall?
That’s why nobody involved in the program ever cared about dead “clients” or fraud. As long as the money was spent, the program was working as intended.
