Jimmy Kimmel has gone nuclear after ABC pulled his show following his vile comments about Charlie Kirk's assassination.
Insiders told the Daily Mail the late-night host is 'absolutely f***ing livid' they canceled Jimmy Kimmel Live! just hours before he was due to go on air.
The sources revealed he was holding a crunch meeting with network executives, but is keen to 'break his relationship with them forever' and is already teeing up a guest slot with axed CBS star Stephen Colbert. Meanwhile one of his producers said they were 'wandering around like aimless cows', adding: 'I've never seen Jimmy this angry.'
Kimmel ranted about the shooting on his Monday night episode, suggesting the assassin 'was MAGA' and the Republicans were trying to 'score political points'.
On Wednesday FCC Chair Brendan Carr urged broadcasters to stop airing his show, hinting he would open an investigation into the vicious comments.
Nexstar Media Group, which owners numerous local ABC affiliates, then came out and branded Kimmel's comments 'offensive and insensitive'.
By Wednesday night Disney-owned ABC announced Jimmy Kimmel Live! was 'pre-empted indefinitely', without elaborating further.
A source told the Daily Mail: 'Jimmy is p***ed over the decision to suspend him and the show and he isn't going to take this lightly, as he is actively looking for ways to get out of his contract.
'This is the last straw and Jimmy is now looking to forever break his relationship with ABC forever.'
They continued: 'Stephen Colbert is already looking to get Jimmy on his show as a guest in the next couple days or within the week.

The sooner Kimmel is off the air the better.
Oh sure, I’ll definitely want to watch him on Colbert, NOT!
Colbert interviewing kimmel.??? . I think if forced, I’d watch a wnba game instead. GUN TO MY HEAD, TO CHOSE WHICH ONE YOU WATCH.
Oh, so he was the ”Fat Man” bomb. I get it, now.
My guess is that the execs over at Disney are quite upset about firing one of their fellow travelers. That just makes it even sweeter.
He stepped in dogshit and anywhere he goes he will carry that stink of dogshit with him. He may land somewhere where they like the smell of dogshit, like Kathy Griffen has, but we probably won’t see much of him going forward.
Stephanie Miller is melting down over the “FCC cancellation of Kimmel”. This is what they will promote as cause. Nexstars determination of Kimmel’s speech as offensive will not be repeated.
I have no idea whether Kimmel should be pulled off the air or not. But I do know this: What he was saying about the motives and identity of Charlie Kirk’s assassin was asinine, stupid, insulting, and untrue. The media really needs to stop this stuff. Maybe this will teach them their lesson.
I can barely hold back the tears.
Well, that will pump up the ratings for Colbert, when Jimmy Kimmel is on his show.
“...he ALREADY has new job plans”

Don’t tell me, a podcast.....how original.
Who knows but for schadenfreude fans it might be a must watch event. Certainly meme generators could find comedy gold there.
I would have never heard of Kimmel if there was no Free Republic ,LOL
My suggestion to Jimmy? KEEP DIGGING! *SMIRK*
This like watching maggots squirm when you lift a rock.
LOL! More popcorn!
I look into the crystal ball and see in your future … podcast hahaha
Kimmel can get reintroduced into the game show circuit.
We live in a time when every journalist feels the need to be an op-ed writer. When all we need is shoe leather reporting.
We also live in a time where every late night host has to voice their opinion and not just present guests and eloquently. Interview them professionally a’ la Carson the pro. This current batch of swine are egotistical slobs.
They can call the show “DOUBLE HATE”!
Don’t tell me. Kimmel was showing his two new Expensive Coffee Shack shirts around to all his former pals. Didn’t take him long to decide being a barista wouldn’t be bad. He could still tell people his far-left Bolshie political “jokes”.
