The Virginia Police Benevolent Association, which four years ago supported all Republicans, is backing Abigail Spanberger (D) over Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears (R).
RICHMOND — The Virginia Police Benevolent Association is backing Abigail Spanberger, the Democratic nominee for governor — a switch from four years ago, when the group favored Republicans up and down the statewide ticket.
The PBA announced Wednesday that it is splitting its endorsements in statewide races this year, picking the Republican candidates for lieutenant governor and attorney general, John Reid and Jason S. Miyares.
The group praised Spanberger for voting to increase local law enforcement funding during her three terms in Congress.

Unreal that ANY police group would want to endorse any Dem, these days.

If VA was NJ, they would remove Sears as the nominee and put up someone else who could possibly win. The Sears defeat will be wildly popular with the fake media.

Sears non-support of Trump will not help her get conservative votes. It is a shame as she is smart and has a terrific life story.
Winsome should immediately respond to the Police endorsement of the Democrat to remind them of all the other wacky, wasteful and anti-American issues the Dems fully support.

I’m guessing the PBA expects Spamburger to win and is doing some front-running. Here’s hoping that Winsome pulls out a surprise victory.

The first time I visited a friend of mine in northern Virginia, I was shocked to see how many foreigners lived in his neighborhood. White people were a minority there — and that was 30 years ago.
I think that about sums up their interest.
