Fox News contributor Ari Fleischer called out the GOP’s effort to implement a new congressional map in Texas for being an unfair power grab.
In a post to X on Tuesday, the former press secretary for President George W. Bush spoke out against the GOP’s mid-decade redistricting plan — which would make five districts favorable to Republicans in areas currently represented by Democrats.

He may be right, BUT DEMOCRATS have no problem with it.
Why do the GOP light always want to disadvantage the republican party??
No no! You can’t act like the Democrats! You might gain power and I’d lose my paycheck.
The rule of politics is that the majority rules.
Rules? In a knife fight?
Well seeing as how there are no rules....someone yell 1 2 3 go!
This is an example of why Republicans are generally worthless, when in power. They think instructing Democrats as to a collegial way will make them change. Of course, it never does because they actively choose to do what they do—it wasn’t from a lack of understanding.
Typical Bushie.
Bush bot. Even they’re on their way out now
Just a wild guess but that 13th district is dim with probably 15 and 14 pub.
sorry 15th and 12th pub.
Why don’t Republicans fight? Because there is no fight in them.
Go away, Ari.
Democrats have gerrymandered for decades and allowed 30 million illegals into this country to increase their number of House seats and electoral votes.
Ari NeverTrump weighs in to help the Dims.
Gerrymandering?
Never heard the Democrats complain in other states like California and Illinois about Gerrymandering. Oh...wait...it’s ok when they do it.
What a joke. Either get rid of all gerrymandering nationwide, or quit complaining about it.
Politics must have rules? Well, sure, I guess so. I’d say those rules are called the ‘law’. Democrats break the ‘rules’, or ‘law’, all the time, without consequences. Russiagate, for example. What laws are being broken here in re-drawing the Texas districts? If the laws are being broken, the courts will stop the new districts. This is a perfectly acceptable use of political power, on behalf of the citizens. Sit down, Mr. Fleischer, your Communist underwear is showing.
There are no rules for Democrats.
Time to fight fire with fire. There is no place for RINOs in the GOP any longer, Ari, you Bushie. You must not have gotten the memo.
The Democrats practically invented and perfected it
Ari is the type of R who brings marshmallows to a gunfight. There are way too many of these losers. The rats have pulled this BS all over the country
