Police have launched an investigation after a man was left unconscious at a busy London railway station last night.
Paramedics rushed to St Pancras Station, in central London, at around 8.40pm and the man was taken to a major trauma centre with 'serious injuries'.
Footage circulating online shows hard-right activist Tommy Robinson pacing back and forth beside the unresponsive man lying face-down on the concourse.
Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, had earlier posted footage of himself handing out flyers inside the station for an upcoming 'free speech' protest on September 13.
He later appeared to be walking in the background as security were called to help the unresponsive man.
As stunned bystanders look on, one Good Samaritan can be heard urgently shouting: 'Can we get some help over here!'
But Robinson, visibly agitated, throws his arms in the air before turning and walking away down a staircase, repeatedly protesting his innocence. 'He f***ing came at me, bruv,' he yells. 'He come at me bruv, you saw that.'
The British Transport Police (BTP) has since launched an investigation into the alleged assault and have been 'making arrest enquiries'.
Robinson has been active on his X account today, reposting a tweet which claimed he acted in self-defence.
'It's never good or acceptable to physically assault someone over their political views, the tweet said. 'But lets looks at the context.
'Tommy Robinson has been politically active and a well known figure for years. There's countless video's of people debating him, threatening him etc.
'Shout and scream at him all you want, disagree with his views, debate him, argue with him... He's not gonna punch or attack you. I've argued with him loads over the years and... guess what... never been...

I’ve seen his name, and I know Leftists hate him.
If the Left hates him, it is almost certainly self defense, given their track record of violence.
Let’s hope he was defending himself lawfully, because the authorities would love to put him away for years on end.
I assume that's the case. He's one of the most famous guys in Britain.
I have no idea what happened here. But if I were a member of the British Deep State, here’s what I’d do. I’d have an agent provoke Robinson, and take a beating.
Then back to jail goes Robinson.
Just sayin’.
Let’s hope he was defending himself lawfully, because the authorities would love to put him away for years on end.
......
There is no justice
That’s what I was thinking too.
“...an upcoming ‘free speech’ protest on September 13. “
It's Pommyland ... self defense is never lawful for actual Britons.
Tommy needs to take his family and leave England for this cycle to stop. It’s the only way. The powers that be in that country have it in for him, and they are never held accountable.
There appears to be a camera directly above the scene so this should be a quick investigation.
Trump should grant him asylum in America.
London has cameras all over the place and I mean, all over. You can’t sneeze without it being seen.
There is absolutely a camera at St. Pancras station because that is the station to take the tunnel rail to France.
CCTV is almost everywhere in the UK, so this incident at a London train station was probably recorded. But just because it’s self-defense (probably) doesn’t mean Robinson won’t be charged, convicted, and jailed.
> London has cameras all over the place and I mean, all over. <
I taught for years in an inner-city public high school. And we had cameras all over the place, too. Funny thing, though. When a student assaulted a teacher the camera covering that area was usually out of order.
I wonder if London uses the same camera vendor that my school did.
🤔
Which is why I have no doubt that Tommy was assaulted. They have the whole video but chose to just release ‘clips’. If TR had just sucker punched somebody they’d have released the whole thing.
A ‘crime’ like this would be an indictable offence. He’d have a right to insist on a jury trial in crown court. I have my doubts a jury would convict him unless it was stuffed entirely with Muslims.
I find it interesting that we are not hearing of video showing what happened before the unnamed individual wound up on the floor.....
i am not optimistic about TR getting a fair trial
yes
if it shows self defense
it will never see the light of day
note to TR - always bring someone to video
