I finished driving home and call the Chula Vista police department because I was on a city street when it occurred. Not so fast. The shot came from a house in the county of San Diego. I called the Sheriff's department. Neither agency would send out an officer to take a report or investigate. I was stuck finding a car window replacement shop to fix it before I had to go to work the next day. $120 later, it was fixed and I spent an hour vacuuming the glass out of my car. I was very annoyed at the complacency of both CVPD and SDSO. As time progressed, I was less surprised at the timidity of both departments to act. What a waste of money of "policing".
Reminds me when Obama was in. Whenever it seemed the heat was turning up on him, something like this would happen to distract public attention. Yeah, coincidence. 🤔
