No, he didn’t squander Rudy’s legacy. He used it to get elected. Bloomberg a life-long RAT, ran as a Republican only because he knew a RAT wouldn’t be elected after Rudy and 9/11. When Rudy was elected, the City Council changed the term limits for Mayor to two terms. There had never been term limits before that. Bloomberg got to the end of his 2nd term, and asked the City Council to let him run for a third. The City Council acquiesced, and gave him a third term, which ticked off voters because it should have been offered as a referendum. By that time Bloomberg had become an Independent. After he left office, he went back to being a RAT, and the City Council finally placed a referendum on the ballot to go back to two terms for Mayor, and the people voted for it overwhelmingly.

Zohar’s will win and win with a huge majority. Like most blue states they are controlled by one or two massive cities and the rest of the state is punished. Commies will do well in the city. And when things get worse than ever and there is explosive uncontrolled violent the next commie clown will come in and win a huge majority too. See Chicago, San Fran, Seattle, Portland, Oakland, Baltimore, Detroit, Minnedishu, etc. Democrat voters are so smart they are the stupid.

Elections have consequences, and consequences is a very strict and harsh schoolmarm at times.
Not sure but I don’t believe this guy can win. He won a primary with about 7% of the total eligible voters in New York. When people vote in the general and in earnest I think they will reject his agenda. He might be able to sell himself in Seattle, Portland, or L.A. but I have greater faith in New Yorkers than that.

If he wins the city of New York will collapse in chaos. I would expect large numbers of the city police force will take early retirement or leave. The millionaire types will quickly abandon the city as will many corporations. Crime will escalate and the city will soon go bankrupt. Elections have consequences.

See what has been happening to London under Sadiq Khan, that is what is coming to NYC. And like Khan, once Mamdani is in, it’s his job for as long as he wants it.
