Politics = The Are of Bait & Switch.
Reads like an Elon endorsement.
It’s like an episode of The Bold & The Beautiful!
Hope it’s true that Bongino is upset with the declaration about Epstein’s supposed suicide. That quick statement earlier made him look bad.
By Monday Morning this will have all blown over and a new news cycle will have begun which takes out attention away from this kerfuffle.
“Oh look! A squirrel.”
He’s not fixing this correctly. If he doesn’t it will spiral into something very, very big.
Bondi is doing what her boss is telling her to say...Trump hired push buttons not thinkers..Came from the top.
This was the problem with Bondi:
“You’ve got the Bondi statements over and over,” Kelly said. “The one saying, she didn’t say the files on my desk. She was asked specifically about the client list, and she said, ‘It’s on my desk right now.’ Then, a week later, she promised Jesse Waters she was about to dump some sort of information dump that we were all going to be really interested in.”
She shouldn’t have said to Doocy at the press conference that the binders included a client list. Or honestly give us some of the client list with redacted names with “but these people in this situation are not accused of any crime or impropriety——” to avoid lawsuits for defamation and loss to their incomes from the slander. That’s what Bill O’Reilly believes is the secret-—to avoid slander lawsuits.
My humorous take——
As to “she was about to dump some sort of information dump”-—well she apparently did take a dump and the people don’t like the smell from it.

Here is the Epstein List as compiled Ryan Dawson from legal documents.
Behaving like a bunch of children.
The whole rotten crew of them are corrupt and self serving to the core.
LET
THEM
FIGHT
WHAT?! Members of FreeRepublic.com are NOT privy to the details? GASP. Shocking. BOMBSHELL. "Unprecedented!"
Pure speculation on my part ..but maybe they are setting up this kerfuffle to get public sentiment to demand the files are released. This way it doesn’t look like the files are being released as revenge on the customers of Epstein.
Sounds a bit conspiratorial....but we are fighting against outright liars in the Congress, Senate, and journalists, and the acting class. A little fakeroo might be necessary.
Pure speculation, but....
“After providing some edits, Kash and Dan signed off on the strategy and contents”
Another source said that, although the three “signed off” on the documents, there were zero signatures on it. They must be using the phrase to mean “agreed”.
On the Epstein case the WH press releases do not matter. What matters is that the material stuff gets released.
The Epstein case is no longer just about one man’s crimes—it’s about whether the intelligence community used those crimes as a tool of power.
If Epstein’s operation functioned as a honey trap, it gave the CIA and others leverage over a vast network of elites—some useful for quiet influence, others for critical operations. The intelligence community is likely blocking the release of these files, claiming it’s to protect “sources and methods.”
But here’s the problem: Trump promised transparency. Sunlight. Justice.
Now Bondi is stalling, and people like Dan Bongino are right to call it out. If there’s a legitimate national security concern, say so. Redact what’s necessary. But release everything else.
Because if that doesn’t happen soon, this won’t just look like a cover-up—it will look like the system once again protecting itself while the public is told to forget.
Rich people travel out of the country routinely.
The announcement may have been like yelling “ICE” in LA - those that run are likely lawbreakers.
The walk back may a way of letting others afraid to bolt to stay put until a grand jury indicts.
I regard the Epstein matter as something the Attorney General of the State of New York, Letitia James, should be the lead prosecutor for. Attorney General James can readily get the names of the females that got money from Epstein’s estate.
The then young females involved probably came from Upper East & West Side families.
They may not wish their now quite comfortable lives be tarnished by public trials where they would have to admit being teenage whores. Bondi may simply be respecting their wishes.
The females got paid twice, once for the services provided and then money from Epstein’s estate. They got what they wanted, when they wanted it, twice.
Julie Kelly is personally very close to Dan Bongino and a significant advocate for him. According to Julie Kelly and various other media sources, Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino is threatening to quit over issues surrounding how the DOJ has handled the Jeffrey Epstein information.
“Sources confirm to me the blow up between Dan Bongino and Pam Bondi is very real. This has been brewing for four months and came to a head at the White House on Wednesday. He has not been in the office since. Most of the frustration at FBI relates to her handling of Epstein disclosures and disputes between FBI and Bondi about how to proceed. Bongino appears ready to resign imminently if Bondi remains in office.”
Axios, CNN and various other outlets have essentially confirmed the same story.
Mary Margaret Olohan from the Daily Wire writes,
“Bongino in particular, one source said, is frustrated that the DOJ, at the start of this week, declared the Epstein case effectively closed and determined that the accused sex trafficker died by suicide while awaiting trial, with few further details shared. He wants more documents unsealed, the source added.” Olohan also said, “Source close to Dan Bongino tells me it’s either him or Pam Bondi, and that he won’t stay at FBI if she stays at DOJ.
If this is all true is doesn’t bode well for Dan Bongino and he will likely be asked to depart from his position, if he has not already resigned. This type of emotional response is considered a significant sign of instability amid executive level office holders. The either/or threat never works at this level.
