Howdy, luvie.
Yes, had some rain this afternoon. Based on the forecast, that will be my answer for the next week, at least. At least the rain cooled things down.
Did it stay cloudy there today?
Caught up in a TV series made from a movie. Started off following the movie but they’ve strayed from it now. Still very good though. Back to it.

It’s a new one for me, but it’s a sweet song.

It's usually sung by little kids in church/Sunday school, but in that version the kids were a bit older.

Enjoy your TV series! I hope it continues to be good.
It didn’t stay cloudy all day, but I don’t think it ever got over about 92. It’s a bit more humid right now, but with the breeze, still felt pretty good. I didn’t go out for long though. I find that I don’t like outside...except after dark.
Very nice that the rain you got cooled things down. Sometimes your higher humidity makes things worse when the rain is over. Stickeh. Ugh.

Ad break.
It’s still good so far.
I saw 92 here when I woke up but I’d say it didn’t feel like yours. LOL Already stickeh and it was worse after the rain.
A breeze does help and for you, a little humidity probably feels good. Enjoy it while you have it because it’ll be bone dry again before you know it.

Yeah, bone-dry is what I’m afraid of. Right now I don’t feel like crepe paper that’s been wadded up in the back of the closet. LOL! It’s kind of nice for a change.
That is the worst feeling. When it feels wetter when the rain has stopped. Ugh. I’ll probably get a dose of that this coming week. I’ll let ya know. :)

Howdy, EGC! The lake area is looking so lush, I'd swear y'all were in a tropical rain forest. Glad you enjoy the tunes. You should be a DJ. You're so good at it everywhere else. LOL!
This is a great picture of Gizmo! 🤎

"Day Is Dying In The West" Composed by Mary Lathbury at Chautauqua, NY. in 1877. Several years ago, while driving toward Ohio through New York, I stopped at Lake Chautauqua. That hymn was going through my head as I stood on the shore taking pictures at twilight.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Sure wish we had some of your pretty weather over here. We’re getting a little burned out on clouds and rain. LOL
You had a beautiful day to wander around Comanche Lake. I see Gizmo made a point of heading to his favorite smelly spot for a roll. :-)

It IS the desert so bone dry is the name of the game most of the time. LOL I’m glad you’re getting a little break for a change.
So you have decent rain chances coming up next week? Great, as long as there isn’t any more flooding.
