He was rough housing the day before and got knocked down a bit. So, perhaps it was from that.
My son growing up would complain about pain in his thighs. There was no swelling or redness. He could run about, although at times he would limp. It was not consistent. But it went on for several months.
Eventually, I took him to the doc for an annual check-up. The doc asked him questions, felt all around, looked up and down and then mouthed to me, “I can’t find anything wrong.”
I nodded. I agreed and I indicated I hadn’t found and cause either. But, ever since that exam, the son stopped complaining and said that the doc cured his pain.

Well, before you judge me and my position, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Chubby. Like every one of you, I didn’t choose this name; it was given to me. Yes, I have a pot belly and I am very soft. The fact that I love snacks and honey has a lot to do with it. Let’s start at the beginning. I was minding my own business at the local Costco having a great time. What’s not to like? Everyone would stop and admire my size and come and touch me. I am an adorable 93-inch soft plus-size blonde bear that retailed for 299.99. Costco was super nice. Air conditioned and the smell of pizza and dogs and churros every day made me smile! I do have to say the people with the white hair need to move faster because everyone complains about you! Believe me, I have heard it all. One day I was adopted and in a very loving home. Just like in the movie Toy Story, my kids grew up and I was too big and needed to go. A series of unfortunate events led me to be strapped to the top of this sweet Ford Explorer. I know I know that is the juicy part of the story but Chief Roske has me on a word count because I like to ramble. So there I was driving around “The Tri” and I have to say the weather has been nice. I can’t complain the sun feels good. It may look uncomfortable for you but I love it! Everywhere I go people smile and take my picture. It reminds me of my early days at Costco. Cruising around I have noticed Richland with their nice Howard Ammon park and Live at 5 music concerts. Kennewick has the mall and a new Chick-fil-A. Super nice! If you are wondering I am a Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich bear myself. Here is a pro tip from Chubby. Get the app and order pickup. That drive-through is ridiculous. Unless you have 40 minutes to spare and like to scroll TikTok. And then there is Pasco. This is where the story gets real. In Pasco, they have raspas (sno cones), paletas (ice cream bars), pan dulce, horchata, tacos, and gyros well you get the point… I like to eat. One hot evening I found myself at Peanuts Park. (Did you know this park was named after Norburu “Peanuts” Fukuda? Yeah me neither.) Just don’t say Peanuts Park ten times fast because our dispatchers get confused. My driver was really upset at another man at the park. I heard a lot of yelling and saw my driver trying to assault a man with a machete. (Fun fact Machete the 2010 movie by Robert Rodriguez still holds up) After the man got away my driver got in the Explorer and ran him over. I am pretty sure he broke his leg. The good thing is I think he is recovering. We left the scene faster than the Duke Boys being chased by Rosco P. Coltrane. Crazy thing is all witnesses who reported this crime said the suspect's car left with a big blonde plush bear strapped on the top. Yes, that is me! The boys and girls in blue don’t find us that night because they were busy catching a car thief from Kennewick in Touchet. So a day later the law caught up to the Explorer ( trust me not hard to find) I am riding in and Shantel Benett-Wyatt, 36 from Pasco was arrested for assault in the first degree and vehicular assault. The cops even brought a beautiful black dog who goes by the name of Brit. He told me he would rather go by “the Black Knight” and low-key the cops just call him that. I told him my name is Chubby but I want to go by “skinny Pete”. Brit checked for the odor of narcotics in this car and alerted. So here I am waiting at Police Headquarters until a search of this car can be completed. That’s the story and it was my pleasure to tell it to the fans of PPD’s facebook page. Sorry for just giving you the bear minimum these cops just showed up with some bear claws and I am hungry.
