Hi! We’re having Canadian wildfire smoke recenty, since Saturday. So not liking that at all. Looks like 91 degrees for Tuesday. 😅 A bit warm. Keeping busy pulling weeds and planting some perennials. We’ve been getting good rain and the weeds are growing so fast. Raspberries are producing well, but you have to go through the mosquitoes to get ‘em! 😀
Yep, we are getting regular rains here, making the weeds grow like weeds. 😅
This is an amazing summer for rain.
I didn’t get here (from Papua Indonesia) early enough to plant summer flowers. Stores are sold out! But I do have some annuals blooming their hearts out. So beautiful. I find plants to be very calming.
This evening, Pastor John MacArthur passed from this world into heaven. He was very instrumental in our lives, although we have never met, in getting us back to the mission field after the covid scam. I will miss his teaching.

John McArthur was very instrumental in my early discipling as a believer. When I was stationed in Germany in the Army someone had cassette tapes of his teachings. We would get together and listen on Sundays. For almost 3 years he was my pastor. He was a new pastor himself. Over the years there were areas I disagreed with him, but he was a great teacher and I am grateful for his life. He’s resting with Jesus now. Hallelujah 🤚
