I have to admit that I thought much less of Melania when I found out she was adamantly pro-choice. I don’t care that her lapels are just the right width, or her colors are just perfect, etc. She says government has no right to tell women what to do with their bodies, which makes her pro-choice up until birth.

Goodness, I haven’t checked in in a long time, sorry guys!
I have been feeling icky. But I finally figured out what’s going on, accidentally.
Two physical therapists gave me exercises to do, I felt worse, so I quit going to them, finally got the appointment with the one that I had an appointment with six months ago, she was very booked up. I even forgot I had it.
She said my muscles were tight and the last thing I needed to do was tighten them even more. She said the nerves are encapsulated in the muscle muscles and if you keep tightening them, the nerves are not going to heal and they will keep firing. That’s exactly what I felt when I was doing the exercises.
She said relax them. Then we do exercises after that. It would take 6 to 8 weeks for the relaxation phase. I’m only on week two and I feel 75% better. The exercises are so benign. It’s hard to believe they’re doing anything. But they are! I just kind of lay around and relax and get in different positions and relax again. It’s very soothing physically and mentally.
I can’t believe there’s so many bad medical professionals out there. Don’t they all take the same courses?

But, I am under the weather at the moment. I have a bit of congestion in my throat.
Please pray for me. Specifically, pray that this intermittent fever goes away and that the phlegm in my throat would dry up.
When I was hospitalized on Jan. 18, the doctor and nurses were very concerned every time my temp hit 100 ℉. This is also when my bp plunged. I’m NOT currently showing all those symptoms, just the very wee fever and slight congestion in my throat.

Just an update on the MELANIA movie.....
I finally got through it, but it took me about 6 short “episodes.” I found it boring and unrelatable, for the most part. Honestly, to see her constantly standing in front of a mirror, with several people tending her every whim, almost afraid to breathe, as if how much the neck of her scarf showed under her perfect navy coat, or the width of the band on her hat were the most important thing on earth. Honestly, I just can’t relate to that....in fact I find it rather disgusting. The movie is perfect for anyone who thinks the sun rises and sets on her, and you’re taken away with every move she makes. It’s shallow beyond belief.
I think it’s wonderful when things are done nice and in good taste, but to the lengths she obsesses is just far too self absorbed for me. I can’t imagine having the time or lack of problems to live like this.
I am right there with you. I do appreciate the initiatives in developing meaningful children’s programs. That is negated by the fact that she sees nothing wrong with murdering them in the womb.
I do appreciate the style and class that she brings to the White House. She is certainly the best First Lady of my life time. Well, maybe Mamie Eisenhower was better, but I don’t know much about her.
How am I feeling? Discouraged.
I am not up to full strength. Far from it. I also have a bit of congestion in my throat. It triggers a cough reflex which in turn gives me a headache, causes me to throw up, and irritates my throat to trigger the reflex some more. I am blaming pollen and the absence of an immune system.
I am also discouraged as I look at the calendar. My treatments were ended abruptly with this last one. So, I am waiting to hear from the doc as to a follow-up appointment. I can’t go back until I know my blood is stabilized. But, if I don’t make plane reservations within a certain time period, the price skyrockets.
I was perusing X the other day and came across this story:

He wakes up still feeling hopeless, & the angel repeats himself.
It took Elijah longer than he wanted to get better.
Sometimes we want to move but we can’t.
Sometimes the journey is too much.
It is not a sin to understand your limitations.
I take encouragement from this story.
