I just learned that my youngest daughter cyber-stalked me here at FR that Sunday I went to the ER. In the family group chat (about me!) she said, “if Mom isn’t posting on FR, she is REALLY sick.” LOL!
Lol that’s funny. Nothing says “I care” like cyber stalking.
Hey Ms. B.
Check in! Are you ok in all this snow and cold.
Found a little article that will warm the cockles of your heart. It seems your loathing of your governor is well warranted.

😊
I began my second round of chemo. And had a bad reaction. Everything was tried. No go. They sent me to the ER to closely monitor the situation.
Home now. Tomorrow a new plan will be devised.
Prayers up
Couldn’t get in the port or cath? I recall you, Weston and i all have that problem.
Now that my anemia has mysteriously disappeared its a infrequent ordeal.
Are you driving to all these appointments?

No, I am not. I’m too dizzy to drive. I have a surfeit of volunteers. Some take it personally when I chose a different driver.
Not a port or cath problem. The problem was the rituxan. My body had an allergic reaction to it: itchy palms and feet, face flushing quite a bit, then joint swelling, and finally tongue and throat beginning to swell. All these went away with more benedryl and stopping the rituxan. I didn’t have the problem with it for earlier treatments but I did this time.
For the second time it two weeks the ambulance came and took me to the ER.
So, today the Cancer Center called me and said they wanted to give me bendeka today and when can I come. So, I went out at 9:30. I’m a bit tired now, but I have another chemo tomorrow. I’m trying to find if it is for 9:30 or 1330. A little bit of confusion.
Oh Jemian. What a time you’re having. My heart goes out to you. Are you at home in the U.S. now?
Yes, I am home being taken care of by my family. The hospital asks me if I live alone and the technical answer is yes, but the long distance fam organized shifts and in-town fam is waiting their turns.
Oh, and I did get answer as to what time my appointment is. 0900! None of the times from their machines were correct. I may or may not receive blood tomorrow. Won’t know until the blood arrives.
Thankful that you have care all around. My goodness I hope you recover from all of this. Quickly.
For the good of its victims...sounds like most dictatorships
How are you feeling?
LOL that’s cute!
Thursday’s chemo with bendeka went very well, very smoothly. I have a mild headache now with it, but I’ll take some ibuprophen to deal with that. I am praying my blood gets in today and I will feel very much better later.
Nice to have good news Jemian. And i hope your blood comes in. I too have a unique blood type needing a specific antigen. ARC has to locate it every time. Great you have a huge fan club locally to help you with transportation and no doubt everything else. How has your appetite doing?
