A wave of protests is set to sweep across all 50 states on Saturday, April 19, organized by the grassroots group 50501 in opposition to President Donald Trump's policies and executive actions since returning to office in January. Organizers cite concerns over civil liberties, judicial independence and what they describe as authoritarian overreach.
The 50501 name is short for "50 protests, 50 states, one day." The group, known for organizing protests like "Not My Presidents Day" in February and the global "Hands Off" demonstrations on April 5, has quickly become a fixture in the national resistance to Trump's administration. April 19 is expected to span the entire country, with events planned in hundreds of cities across the U.S. and internationally.

They will quickly get bored of this. In Trump’s first term, TDS folks went non-stop for 4 years. I don’t think they have it in them now.
Yes, odd how they all show up around the same time, are handed signs created by organizers and leave at the same time.
yeah the trannies and girlymen will be out in force
“the national resistance...”
Yeah sure it is.....outside of a few blue cities that allow this stupidity it will go mostly unnoticed.
Only reason it will get any attention at all is the lib media will broadcast it far and wide, exaggerating the size of the crowds.
The world hasn’t changed that much for something like this to make a difference.
No event close to me, but just a FYI…
The Outdoors/Hunting area of sporting goods stores will sell Skunk scent.
Skunk scent has various uses and methods of it’s use.
If one chooses to see/watch this event somewhere, look into skunk scent for if could/will enhance your experience.
It will be a shame if things get out of hand and the cities burn and if what is remaining of downtown gets looted
Even Cspan isn’t covering it.
This will never stop. Divide the country, Americans versus Marxists.
They will engineer the death of an illegal border crosser and will use that as an excuse to restart the inner-city riots as they did in 2020. This summer, we will once again see downtowns in flames.
My opinion.
More hype from Newsweek a far left liberal rag that only far left loonies read. Spread the word! Riot and destroy now! Burn Teslas and charging stations, Burn the Amerikan Flag! Rebel, rebel! AOC Birdbrain Sanders 2028! They’ll leave behind a mess costing taxpayers to clean up. Terrorists. I hope they all get arrested and sent to El Salvador.
The progressive losses are massing on such a grand scale, the return to 60’s style protests is all they can do.
With the money sources dried up and Soros et al under investigation one can only wonder if the effort can be sustained
These things seem less intense. Wonder if USAID closing has anything to do with it.

You are partially right. It’s going to get worse.

Protesting against a duly-elect government? I thought these people believed in democracy.
I think NEWSWEEK is trying to boost attendance at these rallies by publishing locations in advance.
