As President Donald Trump nears the 100-day mark of his second term, recent polling from NBC News shows how he has consolidated the Republican Party not just around himself, but also around his broader “Make America Great Again” movement.
Thirty-six percent of registered voters identified themselves as MAGA supporters in the March NBC News poll. It’s a significant increase from past NBC polling — up from 23% of respondents in a merged sample of all of NBC’s polling across 2023 and 27% of respondents in a merged sample of NBC’s 2024 polling.
The overall share is powered by the 71% of Republicans who now call themselves MAGA supporters.

We took over the county party from what I describe as do-nothing country club Republicans a little over 2 years ago. Tripled membership, crushed it on any number of metrics in 2024. Continuing to build for the future, no one on the executive committee thinks this ends with Trump, it will take longer than 4 years to fix this mess.
I describe us as MAGA Patriots.
Some Republicans were a bit nervous about Trump in 2016/2017. Not sure how he would govern. Now we know and are MAGA. A friend said at first he did not like Trump’s way of expressing himself. Now he knows that is just Trump.

100% align with what you said, there. Voted for DJT in 2016 with some trepidation, but, c’mon, Hillary or not-Hillary? Easy choice. 2020, would have crawled through broken glass for PDJT. 2024, would have crawled nekkid over a concertina wire coil, THEN over broken glass...
Funny how they purposely try and skew the headlines to make it seem as though this is just a Republican thing yet the second sentence plainly reads; “Thirty-six percent of registered voters identified themselves as MAGA supporters in the March NBC News poll”
So voters voted in Trump with around 50% of the vote, but
NBC now states about 36% support MAGA.

These people live in an alternate reality.
I don’t watch too much television, but recently some of my
clients have had their TVs on when I visit. Talk about a
vast wasteland of Leftist Puke streaming all day long...
I’ve never seen a more concerted effort at disinformation
in my life. It’s extremely pernicious. Everything is
literally credited with being good because of Leftist
policies, or there is deep seeded background information
that would lead you to adopt conclusions based on extremely
faulty background noise.
Every weather forecast explains how global climate
change is destroying the planet. No stories at all
give the impression the could possibly be any other
explanation for events, without global warming in the
mix.
And that’s just weather. The same slanted views are
expressed across the board.
Then there’s the non-stop stories like Tariffs that tell the Leftist view, but don’t explain
what Trump’s goals are, and how they are likely to be good for us and achieved. Again, that
model applies to topic after topic. It’s a full press drive to get folks to be terrified
of Trump’s efforts have no ability to grasp what he is doing that is good for the nation.
Makes me furious to watch this USSR slant on propaganda and truth.
I don’t see how anyone can come away with a clear
vision of what is taking place these days. Sites
like FR are the only ones telling it like it is, but
on social media, there are a lot of people who do
get what is going on, but you have to ask yourself
where they are getting it.
It sure isn’t being served up on local news or other
regular media outlets.
This has got to change!

Why would anyone want the old neocon way of doing things. The Iraq War and the sell job they did with WMDs and them laughing about it pretty much ended that part taking control of the party for good.
