Celebrities did not respond kindly to comedian Bill Maher visiting the White House for dinner with President Trump and were even more incensed over his retelling of the dinner.
As Breitbart News reported, Maher finally divulged the details about his dinner with Trump weeks after teasing it, describing the president as gracious and completely different from the man he knew on television.
“He’s much more self-aware than he lets on in public. Look, I get it, it doesn’t matter who he is at a private dinner with a comedian, it matters who he is on the world stage,” Maher said last Friday. “I’m just taking it as a positive that this person exists, because everything I’ve ever not liked about him was, I swear to God, absent, at least on this night with this guy.”
“I never felt I had to walk on eggshells around him. And, honestly, I voted for Clinton and Obama, but I would never feel comfortable talking to them the way I was able to talk with Donald Trump. That’s just how it went down, make of it what you will. Me, I feel it’s emblematic of why the Democrats are so unpopular these days,” Maher added.

one positive aspect of TDS is it divides those who can think for themselves from the hive of the mindless and hatefilled ideologues that can’t.
Can’t believe the good thoughts I’ve having of Maher now. Hope that Kid Rock continues to encourage that behind-the-scene relationship.
> TDS is very powerful <
Yes, indeed. There’s a video of a reporter stopping people on the sidewalk and asking them if they support specific Trump policies. “Trump wants to do this… Do you agree?”
The smug liberals among them got all agitated and worked up. “Of course not!”
Except the policies weren’t Trump’s. They were Obama’s. A fact that the libs were told at the end.
I need to find that on youtube
I watched the Maher episode. Mayer had printed out a list of all the names Trump had called him over the years. It was a full page, about 30 names. In the course of the evening he presented it to Trump, and Trump just smiled and acknowledged it.
THEN HE SIGNED IT!!
Mayer had broght it to the show and sure enough, there it was, with a big Donald John Trump signature right across the middle of it. What a memento!
Doberman, Cusack and Patton are celebrities? At best they are D listers these days.

This is one...... there might be others as well
“TDS is very powerful”
Which means the legacy media is much more powerful than many here want to admit. While I see posts cheering the crumbling of the legacy media, I see that TDS is still potent. The legacy media fuels TDS.
Ostroy and Olberman are not noted as experts on international economics with a speciality in taxes and tariffs to my understanding.
Why do the left insist on claiming all knowledge everywhere on everything?
A most brilliant man I worked for many moons ago was also a very humble person with a great sense of humor about himself.
~Unlike the celebrity culture today whose contributions are like clouds of gnats. Those clouds are very annoying and brushed away without a thought.
“... A hideous ecstasy of fear and vindictiveness, a desire to kill, to torture, to smash faces in with a sledgehammer, seemed to flow through the whole group of people like an electric current, turning one even against one’s will
into a grimacing, screaming lunatic. And yet the rage that one felt was an abstract, undirected emotion which could
be switched from one object to another like the flame of a blowlamp. Thus, at one moment Winston’s hatred was not
turned against Goldstein at all, but, on the contrary, against Big Brother, the Party, and the Thought Police; and at such moments his heart went out to the lonely, derided heretic on the screen, sole guardian of truth and sanity in a world of lies. And yet the very next instant he was at one with the people about him, and all that was said of Goldstein seemed to him to be true. At those moments his secret loathing of Big Brother changed into adoration, and Big Brother seemed to tower up, an invincible, fearless protector, standing like a rock against the hordes of Asia, and Goldstein, in spite of his isolation, his helplessness, and the doubt that hung about his very existence, seemed like some sinister enchanter, capable by the mere power of his voice of wrecking the structure of civilization.....”

Bill knew this was coming. Being a RAT means you can never step out of the rigid rules or they will ruin you. Once you join their agenda, you lose any mind of your own. You are merely a tool that the left controls. You must agree with all the insane policy and never sway. That is why the left works the complete hatred for the opposition in as part of their agenda.
Maher is one of those people that may be able to navigate through it and survive. The guy is a jerk but he does manage to see how bad the woke attack on men, RAT war mongering, and censorship are not the lib party he signed on for.
He seems very uninformed at times and it could be just an act or else he buys the brainwashing media spin.
Just found out the guy who torched Governor Shapiro’s home had been to 39 KAMALA rallies-sick. The crazies think democrats are right-wing nazis. Works for me.
Here’s what Bill Maher figured out. He put together two truths, one old, one new:
1. In show business all publicity is good publicity.
2. The majority of America thinks Lefties have gone off the rails, and there aren’t that many whacko Lefties, they are a minority that looks large only because the media helps them look large.
He’s playing the part of “the sensible man” at a time when most Americans are pining for less extremism, screeching and violence.
If they didn’t hate they would have nothing to offer. Maher may turn into Musk and they are letting him know.
Bill Maher also said that he thinks that Trump is responsible for people disappearing. If he means that illegals going back to where they came from as disappearing people.I want to remind him about the J6 people who disappeared.
For a comedian that is as funny as it gets. It was 60 names he called him and the crowd loved it.
Maher: “I never felt I had to walk on eggshells around Trump. I voted for Clinton and Obama,
but I would never feel comfortable talking to them the way I was able to talk with Donald Trump.”
“That’s just how it went down, make of it what you will. I feel it’s
emblematic of why Democrats are so unpopular these days,” he added.
