The Pentagon announced Wednesday Navy Vice Admiral Shoshana Chatfield was fired from her position as U.S. representative to NATO’s military committee “due to a loss of confidence in her ability to lead.”
Chatfield, one of only a few female three-star officers in the Navy and the first woman to lead the Naval War College, served in Afghanistan as a helicopter pilot. In her most recent position, she was assigned to the alliance’s nuclear planning group, acting as a liaison between military and political leadership.
Texas congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, a persistent critic of the Trump administration, said Chatfield wasn’t fired because of her job performance but rather for disloyalty to the commander in chief and her boss at the Pentagon, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
“They fired Navy Vice Admiral Shoshana Chatfield — not because she couldn’t do the job, but because she wouldn’t hang up pictures of Trump and Hegseth,” Crockett alleged, without evidence. “This ain’t about merit — it’s about ego.”......
At a February town hall, Hegseth made it clear how he feels about DEI, telling troops “the single dumbest phrase in military history is ‘Our Diversity is Our Strength.'”

Oh, I see. Two ends of the spectrum. Her end is insubordination. The other end, comms went down.
Unbelievable how stupid the lefts followers are. This play actor woman spouts garbage like this and the left eats it up.
It seems it was about her ego.
The ‘ability to lead’ is not the definition in terms of Shoshana’s ideas; it is in the eyes of the commander in chief, period. I don’t care what her qualifications are, whether she was a pilot- whatever. Her action was INSUBORDINATE.
We have TONS more to do in weeding out the trash these Democrats have inserted into our high military ranks. Bust her down to her last highest rank and make her retire.
she should be court martialed...I don’t care who the president is. if biden was in the white house and a general acted this way there should be a court martial....the president is commander and chief. if you are upset with the commander and chief as a general junior officers are kept out of the loop and it becomes at most something the general shares with another general unofficially or you resign in protest. If you feel strongly about it...not military so I would like to hear a west point trained officer, take on my view of this.
Indeed
Did this Admiral display Biden’s portrait? Why not Trump’s? No excuse! This woman is too political/stupid to serve in the military.
Atlanta Black Star describes itself as a narrative company.
I can see why...
I think the President sent the vice-president to Greenland because he knew this would be her reaction.
Getting rid of her may be a little less difficult.
