Almost from the very beginning I've been bothered by the fact that just about every proclamation he's made is contrary to what the nuns taught me during my 10.5 years of Catholic schools during the 1950s and 1060s.

Like the rest of us may he repent of his sins and put his trust in the Jesus of the Bible. Whosoever calleth on Him will be saved

Good. That shows a properly working Sensus Fidelis.

As a professional theologian at an institution that insists on renewing the oath of fidelity every year (it is only required by the Church at the beginning), Pope Francis has been an occasion of much reflection.

I’m very glad I’m not the Pope. Or a Cardinal. Or a Bishop. Or a cleric of any sort.

I don’t know what God intended, or intends, but His will be done. If suffering is what He has in mind, for whatever reason, then he will have to suffer.

May his suffering be short and his office taken by a righteous man.

Hopefully the next Pope is a good Catholic. And not a communist.

And not a biological woman, as in the ridiculous movie "Conclave".

The False Prophet lived 1500 years ago. His name was Mohammed.

I have NO clue IF this homo loving ‘toad’ will join the rich man or meet up with Lazarus in Abraham's bosom ... and I hazard not to guess ... Christ made it crystal clear what the Heavenly Father thought and did over Sodomy ... and this turkey, poked his unholy finger in the eye of the Heavenly Father.

I could go on and on and on listing the many outright anti-Christ dogma, this old goat has wallowed around in the mud like a hog.... He sure loved his human trafficking gig ... made lots of $$$$ trafficking humans ... off US tax payers ...

May the next Pope NOT counsel us on climate change, and stay in his lane.

Agree with you on the first part of your comment, as for the second, well he didn't make himself Pope ...

I have a bad feeling about who calls the shots these days in Rome. In other words, I have no confidence the next in line won’t be an activist.

I guess they do not want to act too quickly and have three popes.

Benedict XVI died some time ago.
