On Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Laura Coates Live,” CNN Political Commentator and former Obama Adviser Van Jones said that the only reason he can find to dismiss Gen. CQ Brown as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is “this slander that he’s woke and DEI. Well, if you are the head of a military that is multiracial and multicultural and you want it to be cohesive, you need to have policies in place to help that happen.”

I was chosen because I was the oldest.
“..he’s woke and DEI.”
He is woke and DEI - and that was a very good reason to fire him.
“Woke” and “DEI” do make for a good military.
“...Well, if you are the head of a military that is multiracial and multicultural and you want it to be cohesive...”

You can have multi-ethnic military, but you cannot have a multi-cultural one...just like you cannot have a multi-cultural nation...it will eventually disintegrate, create civil unrest, or break down into war.
Van Jones:
You are a National Socialist. Go home and keep your crap to yourself.
Putting DEI aside, based on Air Force performance ratings, Brown drove the Air Force into the ground while he was running it
There could not be a better endorsement for firing him.
Did Commie Jones name other Generals who should not be fired?
Did you have the white “maggot tags” name tapes? I was discharged in 76 and we were not camo then but in 75 we had to change the vehicles from OD Green to 4 color camo. I didn’t get the Ike jacket but did have a nice trench coat style rain coat. Still have my field jacket.

I wonder it they chose the tallest to give us somebody to look up to.
Brown was an unelected warmonger and the people spoke on Nov.5th.
Not firing him would have been “dangerous to democracy”.
Ft Bragg 1975. We got a new Post Commander named Hank “Gunfighter” Emerson. He came from Korea where they’d had bad racial problem. He solved that. He had a mandatory formation where he told all of them their racial issues were done because he would make them hate him far more than they hated each other’s color. When he was done they were a tough cohesive unit. He had been in the 82nd Airborne years before he took command and since we were no longer in a war the whole base had gotten a bit lazy. General Emerson cleaned that up real fast.
cohesion = penis in male anus'. Such togetherness.
It was cohesive before Obama and Biden got involved.
the same reason we still have reservations and BIA, failure to integrate and accept an advanced culture or advancements.
I’m not crystal clear on the name tags but I THINK they were white. Your seeming disdain of them surprises me, in that I never heard a negative word about those name tags. But I was in the Army Security Agency, and for two of my three years in Japan I was in a five man Army detachment on a Navy/Marine base. We kept to ourselves pretty much. Our off duty time was spent in Yokohama or Yokosuka. FWIW.
7 Days in May. And the Admiral wasn’t playing in that coup, but confirmed what the “code” was for in re: ECOMMCON.
Still a good movie btw.
White Euro Communists calling all the shots— via the UK, no less. Bishop Tutu, and Mugabe a graduate of Patrice Lumumba Univ. of Moscow. That’s how.
Van being Van, I see.
It was a great theoretical analysis of how the Deep State would take down JFK if he tried to demilitarize and make peace with Russia. The “insider’s view” of life in Washington and the interplay of politicians, “society”, and the military was very well done. The notion of a split in the officer corps over Presidential authority under conditions where the military would be cut back was made plausible by good writing.
As it happened, Knebel and Bailey made it much too complicated.
In reality, all they had to do was blow his brains out on a street in Dallas.
