In his first weeks as president, Donald J. Trump dove right in and took some significant pro-life actions. He started by signing the Mexico City Policy, which prevents federal money from funding out-of-country abortions. He pardoned jailed pro-lifers and released them from prison. He removed Biden’s pro-abortion government website. He penned an executive order declaring that life begins at conception. And he enforced the Hyde Amendment, which bars federal funds from paying for domestic abortions.
These actions all mark incredible strides in the effort to return our country to a nation that respects and cherishes all human beings, but they are only a start.
Building a culture of life is not easy, and steps like the ones the president has already taken help immensely. Yet we know that Trump can do better than this. He has a long way to go in the defense of preborn babies, as he still advocates for a 15-week abortion ban and for in vitro fertilization. These actions fly in the face of his acknowledgment — and the truth — that life begins at conception, and they imply that the less mature and younger preborn babies do not have the same value as their older preborn peers.

Trump ended Roe v Wade.
That alone puts him at the top of the list.
Sex is a great way to manipulate men to get what you want. Abortion is an incentive when a woman’s considering whoredom as a career choice.
Is this true? I thought Trump said repeatedly that Dobbs lets the states decide and he's happy with that.
As much as I love Reagan, Trump has already done more to control gummit than Reagan was able to do.
“Trump ended Roe v Wade.
That alone puts him at the top of the list.”
Reagan legalized abortion in California which got the ball rolling for Roe vs Wade, and he appointed 2 solid pro choice justices.
With due respect to this author, I doubt that Trump is going to have a Pro-Life agenda at the federal level at the top of his list. He will keep the federal government from promoting abortion but is not going to get behind any national abortion ban or restriction. That is part of the secret of his coalition.
I don’t think we need to have a showdown between Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. Both are heroes. Both are national treasures.
1980 posed completely different challenges. Everyone knows that President Reagan gave us the term Peace Through Strength. What a lot of people don’t know is that President Reagan also gave us the phrase Make America Great Again.
One thing is sure though: President Trump inherited a far, far more corrupted and dangerous world than did President Reagan.
Both President Reagan and President Trump are indispensable - it seems almost silly to try and rank them - like asking who’s better, Bach, Chopin, Beethoven or Mozart - who cares? We are lucky to have had them all.
The Hawks turned on Reagan after Rejkjavik, called it a “betrayal”.
I do. Bach. Then Handel. The rest are back there in 3rd place with Rach and Schubert.
SiriusLee?
Yup. Just ask my brother, Indubitib Lee.
LOL!
These strong conservative, pro-life women sure hang on! I met Judie Brown when I was in college in Virginia in the 1980s. Her headquarters was a big ol’ barn in Stafford. She wasn’t a youngster the, either.
I was so glad to have gotten to meet Phyllis Schlafly before she passed. She figured out what Trump was about before either I or her children did. The woman had strength and wisdom.
The counterproductive 15-week “ban” is advocated for by “Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America”, which is not pro-life.
Real pro-life organizations fight to protect innocent little preborn babies from conception forward.
I love Reagan like a father. I enjoyed his years as president
so much.
I will also say, that Trump is an amazing man. His energy
at his age is just incredible, and his fertile mind is
always in gear.
I never thought I’d see what is going on right now with
DOGE. These are great days to be alive folks.
Trump, Musk, Trump’s appointees, wow...
