I wish that were true about my brother, who commands about 6 figures as a computer programmer, and my hubby, who is a lower level tech guy. Both are white males. Bro, being German American, is extremely white. Husband, who is Irish and Hungarian extraction, is often asked if he’s Mexican... but is whiter than me.
Both have had NO luck finding gainful employment in the last seven months — interviews out the yang. It’s infuriating.

No use nowadays going tens or hundreds of thousands into debt when you’ll never get hired.
As others have mentioned here, there are those who applied themselves fully and are still unemployed because the industry has decided to exclude white males, no matter their qualifications.
People will ultimately do what they are incentivized to do and American liberalism has decided to incentivise white males into dropping out of society.
