An Oxford trainee teacher who shared over 1,000 videos of newborn babies being raped has walked free.
Jacob Chouffot, of Iffley, distributed and received more than 1,000 of the most serious Category A films and photos between 2015 and 2019
Yet despite the severity of the offences, the 26-year-old was not given a custodial sentence when appearing in Oxford Crown Court this week.
This was because the judge said he was not a direct danger to the public after Chouffot admitted 14 counts of MAKING, possessing and distributing child abuse images.
Chouffot was arrested in November 2022 and quit his job shortly afterwards having admitted in a police interview to possessing the media which he shared on WhatsApp and Telegram.
He was then charged 18 months later in July of this year and pleaded guilty at his first hearing.
The court heard he used two phones to share and store photos and videos with one phone containing 570 Category A images.
This vile collection including as many as 484 videos which featured children as young as six months.

Sounds like the court needs to be investigated. I hope and pray that President Trump can direct resources to root out and punish vile creatures like this internationally who do not seem remotely human anymore.
I am guessing what the judge is claiming is that he only looked/spread these pictures, he didn’t create them. But is that standard for British law, there is no one in prison there who just looked at them, or the judge just made that up? In the U.S., we’ve seen articles that people who just looked at them go to prison.
It says the charge he plead guilty to includes “making,” but it doesn’t say whether he actually did. Were any of the victims found?
