Former US Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who recently switched teams from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party, has expressed her willingness to be a part of President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet to “help prevent World War III and nuclear war.”
When asked by a News Nation anchor about the idea of her being part of Trump’s A team, Gabbard said, “President Trump is going through, and I know this is how he’s spending a lot of his time right now, looking at making decisions about who he wants to serve on his team and in his cabinet.”
She added, “If there is any way that I can help achieve the goal and objective of preventing World War III and nuclear war, of course, I’d be honored to serve.”

Assistant Sec of State or Defense would work. Or a “roving global ambassador for sanity”.
Head of VA seems to be less of a fit, considering Tulsi’s communications skills which would be under-used in such a role.
Assuming, of course, they don’t lite the fuse before January 20th.
Preventing World War III is going to be a great resume enhancer.

She's an eloquent and persuasive communicator, and certainly the globe could use a lot more sanity.

Thank God. Because some of the others being appointed are trying to hasten it.
Hey, if he can make Musk head of a new "Department of Government Efficiency", he can make Gabbard head of a new "Department of Preventing World War III".
Or maybe just "...Preventing Wars", a sub-department of the DoD. The DoD is in charge of being prepared to fight wars when necessary, Peace Through Superior Firepower, and all that. But preventing wars is even better than winning them, because winning them comes at a higher cost.
As an active service member she carries some authority, she's not just a politician or career diplomat.
Everyone knows and studies the bad choices that lead to disastrous wars. The USA has been practicing them, over and over again, for the last 60 years
Unfortunately, preventing WWIII will never be noticed or celebrated by average Americans, because they will never know what quiet work was done to simply keep peace

I read Tulsi was under consideration for DNI.
Would be a great post for her, given her own experience of being placed on a terrorist watch list [vet as a medic in Iraq, congresswoman btw] by biden following her refusal to tow the dem party line.

If she cleans up Intelligence, and stops them from embracing stories from MI6 and Ukraine and Israel and really anyone, and insists on first hand intelligence or pure data from orbital assets as the source for everything — wars stop, or better, don’t start.
