The editorial board of The New York Times just eviscerated Donald Trump in a single paragraph.
The piece, published on Saturday, was only the Times’ latest attack on the former president during the run-up to the election, but the searing indictment was all the more brutal for its brevity.
Rhetorically matter-of-fact, the piece succinctly lays out many of the reasons Trump’s critics think his second term would be disastrous for the country—the implicit point being that nobody really needs a lengthy review of all Trump’s actions; everyone already knows what he’s about.

He tried to subvert an election and remains a threat to democracy. He helped overturn Roe, with terrible consequences. Mr. Trump’s corruption and lawlessness go beyond elections: It’s his whole ethos. He lies without limit. If he’s re-elected, the G.O.P. won’t restrain him. Mr. Trump will use the government to go after opponents. He will pursue a cruel policy of mass deportations. He will wreak havoc on the poor, the middle class and employers. Unfit to lead is just a weird argument. He was already president once and did a decent job. Clearly he is fit to lead.

He must be doing something right that’s the reason they hate him and the more they hate him the better I like him. He was a great president the last time and I expect no less this time. I sure hope he gets a chance to clean out that cesspool in DC, that would be a monumental achievement.

Baseless claims from the NyT
Proof positive the New York Times doesn’t believe ‘the people’ have the right to elect leaders of their choice.
The paper of elites, for elites and by elites objects...
They skip over their biggest mistake without thinking.
They claim that Trump would be a disaster for the ‘country’, thinking of themselves as making up the majority, therefore that they represent the ‘country’.
Demonstrably they do not, as the overwhelming majority of the country believes we are on the wrong track, something like 75%.
Trump represents the will of the majority, with an end to wokeness, trans politics, war in Ukraine and the Middle East, the Green Energy catastrophe with its accompanying massive inflation, the massive and treasonous border policies, etc, etc, etc.
Trump is a threat to the far left democrats and globalist republicans, neither of which have much support outside the newsrooms of their propaganda machine.
America is about to reclaim its heritage and freedom, and undo the communist coup that took place in 2020, and it’s about time.
Once again the NYT and the MSM is showing themselves to be biased and irrelevant. They will be dead when Trump takes the Presidency.
