The number of early voters and requests for mail-in ballots for the current presidential race are significantly down compared to this point in the 2020 election cycle, political analyst John Couvillon reported.
Early voting is “nowhere near what some people estimated” so far, Henry Olsen, senior fellow with the Ethics and Public Policy Center, wrote for the New York Post on Friday of the Republican strategist’s data.
According to Couvillon, 4.2 million Americans have already voted as of Thursday — down 45 percent from the same period during President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump’s showdown.

2020 was unique for early voting because of Covid. Cannot compare to 2024. 2016 is probably a better comparison. I bet the early voting numbers are higher than 2016.
I keep hearing ads about how the key to winning is early voting. Ha! I know the key to rigging is flooding the mail with fake votes at the last moment. Why reveal to the enemy how many many ballots they have to create in order to steal the election?

Trump and Elon both have urged us to vote early.
I'm wondering if maybe there won't be an official election day and the only votes to count are the early ones.
Mail-in voting and early voting are completely different things in many states. Just mentioning this because any time early voting is mentioned, there are a lot of rants involving vote-by-mail which is a different process from in-person early voting.
The likely explanation is that the DIMs are having trouble with their fake ballot production.
There are many Democrats ( millions ?) who want things to change but don’t think Malaka Harris will change anything. They may secretly wish for Trump to win but won’t vote for a Republican on principle because ….. Republicans are evil. So they are staying home. We welcome these Democrats.
Early voting gives “them” more time and opportunity to assess the number of ballots they must to create to “win”. (What will KH’s final count be? 88 million?)
I worry about almost all of of the good guys being so adamant to tell us to vote early — to “bank our votes”; it seems that fraud is so much easier in that situation.
Election Day voting gives them the opportunity to have technology fail, run out of supplies, create utility outages, etc.
With unscrupulous people who are determined to cheat, it’s a crap shoot.
I am expecting in Michigan, certain well populated D counties will have 110% voter turnout.

There are reports of big drops in dem early voting in VA. In NOVA so far, only the wild eyes feminists who hate everybody are voting in handfuls. Handfuls.
