The headliner of a heavy metal music festival in Florida — and seven other bands — dropped out of the show to protest that acquitted Kenosha killer Kyle Rittenhouse would be on the bill as a “special guest,” according to reports. Rockers Evergreen Terrace pulled out of Shell Shock II in Orlando, saying it refuses “to align with an event promoting murderers” — prompting the festival’s founder to slam them as woke phonies.

Seven other bands including Southpaw, Let Me Bleed and American Hollow followed suit and quit the festival, saying they didn’t want to get political, according to the festival’s founder Tyler Hoover.

“The most punk move you can **** do is stay on a bill that everyone hates. That’s being covered by the media. What happened to punk? What happened to rock? What happened to finger in the air?” Hoover said, according to Outkick.

The festival, which raises money to help veterans with PTSD, will now feature a Slipknot cover band as its headliner and is still scheduled for Oct. 19, according to the music site Loudwire. It wasn’t immediately clear what Rittenhouse’s role as a “special guest” at the festival would be.

If they won’t go to this event, because they don’t want to be “political,” does that mean that any event they play, they 100% agree with anyone there?

Never heard of the bands. Probably because I don’t listen that crap.
Kyle Rittenhouse saved Kenosha. The rioting and burning stopped and the communists went home.
The band “Let Me Bleed” pulled out over Rittenhouse’s attendance.
Now that is VERY FUNNY!! Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber were not available for comment. Maybe Gaige Grosskreutz would care to comment.

Isn’t it a free country. I wouldn’t go to the event, but some people would.
I'm glad nobody had that thought at the tons of Christian message concerts I went to with Petra, Mylon, Stryper, David and the Giants, Geoff Moore, Third Day, Sonic Flood, Fred Hammond, Gary Oliver, Newsboys, Newsong, etc.
Poor Kyle has yet to understand that he will never be accepted by these people.
He has only one way to get some kudos from them. And it will be very short lived.
Whatever these no-name bands are, they’ve now proven
- They support pedos and criminals and not self-defense; and
- They’re trying to suck up to leftist music producers for SJW credits
Protecting your neighbors and surviving multiple assailants through firearm self-defense....pretty damn rock and roll.
These bands are poseurs.
I would expect hundreds of paid assets of the feds to be there just to turn it into a mass shooting if they get the opportunity, all looking like heavy metal right wing white supremacists. Then they would evaporate like a fart in the wind on J6.
