New Yorkers really are tough — to please!

Gov. Kathy Hochul’s favorability rating has sunk lower than President Donald Trump’s among likely Empire State voters, a newly released Siena College poll shows.

Only 34% of likely New York voters said they had a favorable opinion of the Democratic governor, compared with 39% Trump.

The poll conducted last week also had Hochul’s unfavorability rating at 54%, its highest ever, putting her net favorability at -20%. Trump’s net favorability sits at -18%.

“To repeat, Kathy Hochul has a lower net favorability rating in New York than Donald Trump,” Siena poll spokesperson Steve Greenberg emphasized in a statement.

Does it really matter? Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan will vote for her in large numbers. Or am I wrong?

Yet barring a Democrat coup, Hochul will get re-elected. It’s a thoroughly dem state.

Because they are a majority Democrat, incapable of rational thought. They vote almost entirely on the issue of murdering babies, and “free gov handouts for slackers”

commie sympathizers (which covers most of liberals, and a handful of conservatives) should all burn in hell.

Hochul was re-elected in 2022, though Lee Zeldin put up a good fight in running against her.

I recently heard from a friend that that freaking control freak governor has now instituted a tax of one dollar per whatever square feet if somebody wants to grow food in their backyard. It’s unbelievable with these people!

Hochul was re-elected in 2022

I think that was her first election since assuming the Governorship when Cuomo got kicked out.

No you’re not wrong. As long as the candidate has a D beside their name that is all that matters. Issues Shmissues

Why don’t they ever consider an electoral college within states. The cities are not what was imagined at the time of the founding. They did not foresee skyscrapers and transportation to fit such a dense pop within these cities. Inner city NYC runs the state

Look at that crowd at Nassau coliseum yesterday. Long Island is Trump country

Give Kamala time, she'll get there. Right now they are strategically positioning them in every town and city across America as I suspect they think they have the Blue cities wrapped up.

NY is a one party state like CA. The NY taxes pay for a huge number of state employees, NGOs and patronage votes. It is a thoroughly rigged system. Not to mention Cuomo and Hochul invoked the Curley effect to drive opposition out of the state.

It’s quite miraculous how poor Democrat favorability numbers are on every other day besides Election Day.
