Elon Musk is encouraging a hilarious parody ad mocking Kamala Harris to go viral on X after California governor Gavin Newson signed a law to eliminate deepfake and other AI generated content in the lead up to the election.

The law was sparked by a series of parody videos created by AI and using deepfakes to mock Kamala Harris on social media.

If similar AI/Deepfake videos were made of Trump and contained at least some elements of the truth, as all good satire must, Trump being a good sport would surely smile and laugh it off.

For Kamala and Gavin, though, these sorts of parodies (free speech extraordinaire) must be snuffed out, as they represent existential threats to their craven political lives.

Well, it's satire when you have the villains actually 'fessing up. Newsom's order is clearly unconstitutional, and a small disclaimer should be more than enough, as it is with voice impersonators who have been around for decades.
