According to Mike Benz, Routh was arrested over 70 times, many times on gun charges, never criminally pursued. He’s on record claiming to collect money and organize Syrian and Afghan irregular fighters / soldiers / jihadis - to fight in Ukraine.
And yet the FBI / CIA didn’t have any interest, or bother to investigate him?
Yeah. that’s believable.

Agencies may not have been preparing or manipulating him for an assassination attempt, but it definitely smells funny how much overseas geo-politically related activity he was involved in that did not seem to land him in any hot water or slow down his movement.
