A purported ABC staffer claims the network agreed to requests the Harris campaign made, including not mentioning Biden’s health. The network says no ethical lines were crossed.
ABC News has again insisted that no topics or questions were shared with either Vice President Kamala Harris or Donald Trump, and their respective campaigns, in advance of last week’s presidential debate.
The network’s statement came after it declined to directly address allegations—made in an allegedly sworn statement, purportedly by one of its staff—that it helped Harris in the debate.

"In a statement to the Daily Beast, ABC News did not address any of the specific allegations: “ABC News followed the debate rules that both campaigns agreed on and which clearly state: No topics or questions will be shared in advance with campaigns or candidates.”
In short, it was a lame, vague denial that leaves a lot of wiggle room and only addresses the allegation of sharing the questions with the Harris campaign.
It’s time for Mike Johnson to say one way or another, whether he received the affidavit, as the text claims.
Yup. This statement is vague and weak. I read it as an absolute admission of guilt.
Acknowledging the biases of ABC during the debate is one thing.
But saying that Harris won the debate is a downright lie. ABC saying that Kamala won, is another big assist to Kamala, even if 100% a lie.
No, really, we swear.
The wiggle room is the definition of share. If KH asked to have certain topics nit brought up, for example, that’s not sharing information but it is rigging the debate in her favor. Total weasels. But, very telling. Obvious that the WB was on the mark.
There is no other way that Harris could have known they would ask her questions about Ukraine, the War on Israel and Abortion.
ABC should be neutral. They are not and rhey are lying about the rigged “debate”.
He needs lots of pressure.

That proposition was pushed by Greene on X, who claimed that the whistleblower had died “according to news reports.” She then retracted the claim and demanded a “serious investigation” into the document.

Not so clever little two-step between the lines there, conflating the story about the affidavit with the story about the death of the whistleblower.Looks like a trial balloon ABC and Daily Beast put out there.
Did Harris “share” her questions with ABC News? ABC News must be getting hit pretty hard on this.

Also, I find it interesting that ABC News goes to the far-left Daily Beast to get their story out.
They can’t cross ethical lines if they don’t have ethics.
Meanwhile, I see that the ratings for David Muir’s news show have dropped. Learn the easy way or learn the hard way. Boo hoo.
And no way she could have known that they WOULDN'T ask her how long she had known that Joe Biden was a pantz-shizzing dementia patient.

Or that she could have known that she wouldn’t be asked about Biden’s health, how long she knew he was not mentally fit, her record as San Francisco district attorney or any number of other issues they chose not to ask her. Or that she could have known Trump would be fact checked and she wouldn’t (which was another allegation made by the whistleblower).
The bigger point is that she never would have agreed to the debate if these things hadn’t been negotiated beforehand. It explains the cocky, smug look she had, in contrast to the usual clueless deer in the headlights look she has when she’s actually put in a situation in which she’s not in control.

Agree, it’s barely talked about at this point. Much more talk on how Trump is going to be a dictator and crap like that.
