Is the insinuation here that forces within our own government are attempting to take out the Republican presidential nominee? If that’s true, then the news media is complicit given how outrageous their coverage of the assassination attempts has been.
If the roles were reversed and there were multiple assassination attempts on a democrat presidential candidate the democrats would bring charges against SOMEONE in the secret service and they’d already be in jail. Republicans file reports and write stern letters warning that they will file reports and write stern letters.

It’s Meritless Garfunkel who has to prosecuted. All Congress can do is hold investigations and send letters to the DoJ.
With as often as Trump has played that course since 2016, the Secret Service should have had the procedures and personnel necessary for clearing it for his safety absolutely knocked.

I am daily amazed at the number of people I encounter whose minds are clearly, firmly and rigidly stuck in the past.
The Democrat Party is the Party of Government...all of the US Government, from the person who empties the waste baskets on Capital Hill to the rank and file employees of the Bureaus and Agencies. And that won’t change regardless of who occupies the White House.
Elections any more are a charade.
Law-abiding people would never go for secession. In the event that even one state did, lawfare would quickly squelch it. Those who endorsed it would personally be subjected to reprisal by the government. Banks would not be on their side. Property would be forfeit, funds frozen...nobody wants to go there.
During the discussion phase you’d find families torn apart by the pro and con of secession, and the state with its thumb on the scales, and you’d be worried about losing your guns and your kids, never mind the affection of relatives and friends.
We must accept this: Unlike the left we do not lift a finger. In fact, most of us would flunk the Milgram experiment, either before or after the “or else.”
The only practical course is a strike, and even that would need to be organized, you’d have to talk people into poverty for the sake of the nation, good luck with that. Who wants to live on less than $20k a year? Just to be...great again.
Secession being technically illegal anyway, it’s a non-starter. We don’t do illegal.
