Black Californians warn Newsom of ‘direct impact’ on Harris after Dems kill slavery reparation bills

Black activists at the California assembly threatened a “direct impact” on Vice President Harris’ presidential campaign after state Democratic lawmakers held off on two bills that would have greenlighted slavery reparations.

Last week, the California legislature approved proposals allowing for the return of land or compensation to families whose property was unjustly seized by the government, and issuing a formal apology for laws and practices that have harmed Black people. But none of those bills would provide widespread direct payments to African Americans. After hours of heated debate and protests on Saturday, state lawmakers left out two bills – Senate Bills 1403 and 1331 – that would have created a fund and an agency to oversee reparation measures.

Newsom doesn’t want Harris to win... So that’s fine with him.

There's a couple things funny about this. First of all it kind of seems apparent Newsom doesn't like Harris and isn't really supporting her. It's not like he's going to support Trump, but he's made some cracks at her expense.

The second humorous thing is that black voters who support reparations are much more likely to vote for Harris no matter what. Black voters who may not vote for her, are probably less likely to support reparations. It's kind of a hollow threat.

Exactly. But it’s a hollow threat anyway. Are they really going to encourage people not to vote for the Democrat, or outright support Trump? Everyone knows they won’t do that.

Still discriminating against Japanese. Just end all financial gains from race and gender and then no one cares.

More Blacks are supporting Trump.

There are still Blacks who may be inclined to supporting Trump.

I doubt if those inclined have reparations high upon their list of voting issues.

That’s ok. Didn’t somebody clue the blacks in that they are no longer necessary?

It’s illegal all the time now, baby.

Promises made, promises NOT kept. Rescind the onerous high gasoline taxes on All Californians. That would be a more appropriate form of reparations from the slavery of Big Ca Govt. Enjoy the can of worms meal that Gavin ordered.

That is the way I see it: hollow threat.

If these protesters know what is good for them they will get back in line quick-smart. And keep doing what they are told.

In other postings I’d floated the idea that maybe Trump might just win CA. Wouldn’t that be a hoot that the population there rises up against their task masters and votes for Trump?

“”the California legislature approved proposals allowing for the return of land or compensation to families whose property was unjustly seized by the government, and issuing a formal apology for laws and practices that have harmed Black people.””

Whose property and where in CA did this take place?

Black people should realize that to the Dem bosses they are outdated, passe, yesterday’s papers, the fad that went stale.

Replaced by the influx of new illegal aliens being granted voting registration and getting the tens of millions of dollars in special government aid money that could have gone to black people. No longer.

Like rotary dial landline telephones and 8 track cartridge players for cars, they are over.
