I remember a shutdown while I was working on a naval base. We just kept going to work as if nothing happened. We did run out of things like paper and printer ink. And then everybody got back paid. I heard that even people that didn’t continue to go to work got their back pay.
No, they airlifted her to a specialist in Lubbock. We don’t know if she will even make it, and if she does if she will be permanently brain damaged.
I just keep praying she will miraculously recover 💯

When Newt Gingrich was speaker of the house, even though Clinton was President Newt got things done. There were shutdowns during that time and nobody got hurt.
We need another Gingrich as speaker.
