That’s so sad, and they both are still so young.
It’s hard to imagine when you’re healthy that it can change overnight. I was watching the show on retirement, and how most people don’t have enough money saved and they are planning on working. But the show said that many seniors get to the point physically where they can’t work. I haven’t been hearing a lot of that yet but after the Biden inflation I don’t know how anybody has enough money.
My sister retired at 62. And she got pancreatic cancer and only lasted a few months. Luckily she was the type that didn’t wait to retire to do what she wanted, she went on cruises and trips every year.

Cat parole board, lol. I’m dealing with that right now, the cats are allowed in and out during the day. They can come in on their own but I want to let them out so I know who is where. I spend all my time running to doors, of course they can never go out through the same one.
