I had to get on to my work so I couldn’t wait.
Thank you but I missed it as I was at my Son’s and DIL. She was going to make caramels and I was going to wrap but she made cookies instead.
Son seems to be doing better each day but has lost a lot of weight. He will be on oxygen for the rest of his life. His pulmonologist wants him to get this vaccine. “The respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine protects against the respiratory virus that causes lower respiratory tract disease:” He told him if he even gets a cold he will be back in the hospital.
Oh my lol. That’s quite a difference in stories. Bless his heart - who knows what he is thinking that is a result of not hearing.

Today, especially because I have a lingering sore throat, I took to writing things with a black marker in large letters on paper. I numbered them so we’d keep my sentences in order, but it was slow going.
That was surprising because I had just watched a video (no idea how old it was) where he said his wife and he had decided when they got married that they didn’t want to have children.
I think he will be a great father as he has accomplised everything he wanted to in his life so now he will be able to dote on his daughter.

I got him the Inogen a year ago when they went to France. He had to get extra batteries in order to charge one while using the other because they don’t last long. It was over $3,000. Medicare would have paid for those bulky containers but not the small portable one at that time.
After ending up in the hospital 2 times this year Medicare will now pay for a portable that isn’t those awful containers. I think the new one will last maybe 60 to 70 min. but he can also have the other one in their car to switch to if need be. So far he is pretty much sticking to home with a 50ft cord and the big electric compressor so he can get around the whole house and out into the yard. The cold is effecting him when outside though.
DIL is having a bit of a hard time accepting the fact it is now a whole new life change. She also is not in the greatest health. She suffered a heart attack when they came back from their trip to England a couple of years ago and had a mitro valve replaced. Also an implanted defibulator. This caused her to have to retire early from driving public transit bus.
None of this is what she had hoped for in retirement. They are both only 67.
