Trump says he’ll vote to uphold Florida abortion ban after seeming to signal he’d support repeal

Former President Donald Trump on Friday said he will vote no on a Florida ballot measure that would repeal the state’s six-week abortion ban, a day after he seemed to indicate he would vote in favor of the measure.

Trump has said he thinks Florida’s ban is a mistake and said in an interview with Fox News Channel on Friday, “I think six weeks, you need more time.” But then he said, “at the same time, the Democrats are radical,” and he repeated false claims he has frequently made about late-term abortions and said that he opposed allowing abortions up until nine months.

“So I’ll be voting no for that reason,” said Trump, who is registered to vote at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida. …

Still supporting Chemical abortion, as JD made the wimpy soy boy excuse of the Supreme Court made me do it.
Pill one- Kills the baby.
Pill two- causes dilation and contraction to deliver the dead baby.
This is a precious life that cannot speak for the pain the baby feels during this process. This is dangerous and our hospital system has been manipulated to cover up the dangerous procedures.

Do you support this because your grocery bills are too high or your borders are open.
The Grand Ole Planned Parenthood Party now supports the method to kill the most innocent in the highest numbers. Planned Parenthood has to be happy because this requires nothing than taking cash and handing out pills. Now its mail order.
This supports sex traffickers, rapists and pedophiles.
Stand before God and tell him the grocery bill and the border were more important.
Remember when the democrats formally rejected God in a loud voice-— This is rejecting God in the dark silence of the heart.
I can no longer support Any National GOP candidate. They are now the Uniparty of evil, and using the lie that they will get the 30 yr cat lady vote because they support traffickers and abusers.
Would you have locked down and worn a mask for a year under Obama or Biden? The radicals that seek to destroy the family require the uniparty that is trump leads.
He is a bumpstock banner for goodness sakes, and replacing you with an immigrant who has the same college degree, but will work for less money in pay while sucking up Social Security and every other Federal, state and local welfare source.
Grow a set and tell the GOP you do not support the destruction of the family.

Well the tar baby’s not coming from the left. It’s coming from our own sides radical pro-lifer’s. It may seem reasonable to me to assign pro-life principles to people who have sold themselves to moloch and ba’al. But when you privilege the constitutional government to prevent women from climbing the stairs at Tenochtitlan and tossing their toddlers into the firepit to appease the rain god tlaloc. You’re enabling it with a terrible power that the anti-federalist Patrick Henry had nightmares about.

We call it ‘backlash’ today, but by forcing people to adhere to our objections to extreme early term abortions we invite the government authority that we enable. That same government authority we enable is the one that imposes corrupt green energy policies. That authority enables gun control laws and drag queen rights to push porn books to your 5yr old kid. The government authority we enabled as a plow always comes returned as a sword. When are we going to learn.

It took decades of anti-smoking propaganda to get the majority of American’s off of cigarettes. We need decades of Pro-Life propaganda to convince women to not murder their babies. Ideally we would just end it once and for all but the average American is too far gone morally speaking for that to happen.

That’s not exactly true. Some countries in Europe have a 12 week limit but others have much longer. Netherlands is 24 weeks for example.

The very liberal Palm Beach Post had reported that PDJT had said he would vote “No” on the abortion amendment being proposed here in Florida. I don’t know why this was reported the other way around.

I’m simply saying that we keep complaining about not being able to breathe when we’re pulling on the government authority rope that’s wrapped around our own neck. It’s a concept that’s a level deeper than most americans are willing to consider.

John Adams said, “Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Morality and virtue are the foundation of our republic and necessary for a society to be free. That’s why the constitution’s no longer working. We’ve lost that part.

For our current moral climate the chinese form of government may actually work better than a constitutional republic. As a people, we are demonstrating that we do not have the capacity for self governance. The biblical Israelites experienced the same kind of problems. If you read through the old testament like it was a historical novel. Isaiah knew the Lord would be true to His word and would chasten and scatter the apostate people. He warned that their land would become desolate. So history is repeating itself.

Like the way Abraham tried to bargain with The Lord to spare the city if there could be found 50 that were righteous. But what if he could only find 10? Would he spare it for 10? The one’s who don’t know what happened next are the problem we have today. We need to be like Abraham and bitterly plead with The Lord on our knees to spare our city if we find righteous men. But like Isaiah, obey him and be lights in the midst of the darkness that descends when the armies of Nebuchadnezzar come. That is when you see miracles happen. They will see four in the furnace instead of the three that the government tossed in. They will wonder who is the fourth. But we will know.

So was your northern neighbor, MI. When I voted in 2022 the dems had already put up Prop 3 as a ballot initiative - when the SCOTUS struck the Roe ruling MI defaulted on a strict 1931 law, then Prop 3 passed and went to one extreme to the other as many states did.

I live in a rather rural area and many people know each other - there was this younger gal (odd) who darted in and out in seconds and clearly did not vote for candidates but rather check the proposal and left hurriedly.

Yet the dems yelp constantly in ads and talking points about “ABORTION” 24/7 nationwide for turnout this fall as a scare tactic even though most states have gone their own way. Many of these folks won’t be around in November to vote, they already got what they wanted, that’s the good news.

Christ is King. Can we get a Constitutional amendment with those three words, and those only? Other amendments and implementing statutes can flow from that.

Christ treads where he pleases (referring of course to the Gadsden flag).

We can’t keep Franklin’s representative republic. We should institute a god-fearing monarchy.

On this type of subject I’d say it’s best for the executive (governor or prez) to ALWAYS VETO.

That way you at least get something 2/3 agree with as opposed to crap that passes just over 1/2 that only serve to piss everyone off but line the politicians pockets.

He should keep repeating that abortion is a state’s issue now and it never should be a constitutional amendment.

The Constitution doesn’t even allow for or speak towards anything close to executions. Federal crimes excluded, that too is a state issue.

Oddly enough (snark), executions and abortions reside in the same “ether” yet delineation is persistent.
