Former Gov. Larry Hogan (R-MD) and Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks are locked in a dead heat in the U.S. Senate race in Maryland, where Democrats have held both Senate seats for nearly 40 years.

The AARP poll, which Fabrizio Ward (R) and Impact Research (D) jointly conducted, finds Hogan and Alsobrooks tied at 46 percent apiece in the Old Line State. Another seven percent of the 600 likely voters are undecided, while one percent will back another candidate.

Well within the margin of cheat, but I see their problem. If the safe ones are this close, what does it mean for other places they assumed were safe.

Can anyone remind me here, I thought I remembered that the percentage of undecideds left as the race grew closer to actual voting time tend to break in favor of voting for the challenger and not the incumbent?

A RINO or a Dem? Hard to get too excited about this race.

That was true at one point. In recent elections it feels as if the machine votes for them.

Maryland? The state where every damn household has two Federal employees each making $150K a year?

A tie is the best the AARP could do? Does anyone think Kammunist Harris is up 64/32? REALLY? The panicked rodents can’t figure out what lie to tell. Remember our good friends at AARP pushed Obamacare on us.

We don’t need another Mitch McConnell or Mitt Romney type in the Senate. He’d vote with the Dems 75% of the time.

Any tied or close election, is automatically a win for the democrat, after the recount.

Probably closer to 50%, which is much better than 0%, which is the only other alternative in the case of MD.

600 likely voters don’t speak for everyone... people on this thread are tying their thongs in knots for nothing...

Guess you’re hoping the Dem wins. So are Heels Up and Dementia Joe. Don’t know that I’d like to be lumped in with that crowd.

If this is true and not just a random outlier this is bad news for the Dems

Trump should send him a check for $10 like I did. It would not go unnoticed. When it hits the news and everyone asks why Trump can encourage all us po’ folk to do the same.

Unfortunately...well...fortunately...I am a former Marylander and Hogan would be a guaranteed loser IF Trump endorsed him.

Hogan is a dyed-in-the-wool RINO, but he’s slightly better than a Democrat. It’s about control of the Senate.
