Former President Donald Trump has claimed his opponent Kamala Harris is faking the size of her rally, as he posted what he called an 'AI doctored photo' - even though there is no evidence that the photo was manipulated.
At issue is an image that emerged from a Harris-Walz rally at the Detroit Metro Airport on Wednesday that shows a large crowd standing in front of Air Force Two - the official airplane of the vicepresident.
Right-wingers have wrongfully alleged that inconsistencies in the news photo reveal that it was digitally manipulated - pointing to a lack of a reflection on the plane's turbine.

Still, Trump seized on the issue on Sunday, claiming on his Truth Social platform that Harris 'AI'd it.'
'Has anyone noticed that Kamala CHEATED at the airport?' he wrote. 'There was nobody at the plane, and she "AI'd" it, and showed a massive "crowd" of so-caled followers, BUT THEY DIDN'T EXIST!'
'She's a CHEATER. She had NOBODY waiting and the "crowd" looks like 10,000 people!' he continued. 'Same thing is happening with her fake "crowds ..

There are a large number of analysis on X of these photos. Most of them are zoomed in on the crowd and they are clearly fake people. There are heads floating by themselves and other strange things. If you’ve ever generated AI photos of people you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.
Every time I see Trump without the words “inflation” or “border” in the story it’s depressing.
I hadn’t seen this story till now, but just had upset conservatives over who were snarling about “who gives a damn about the crowd size!!”
It’s not pearl clutching, everyone I know is upset and saying Trump needs to listen to good advice. Then they say, of course he won’t.
But some polls show him still leading.
They’ve already been viral here and some here believe it. It’s frustrating.
PDJT and his campaign can do more than one thing at once. Hit them from ALL side pointing out their lies, corruption, reprobate behaviors and bankrupt policies.

The dems probably are doctoring photos since they can easily get away with it with cover from the media. I saw one earlier from a dem rally that had all sorts of strange artifacts. I suspect AI treatment but not sure.
Plus they can trigger Trump into playing the modern day political equivalent of “mine is bigger than yours” ridiculous game. Those in the middle won’t care about this junior high school nonsense.
So it may be a two-fer for the dems. There are probably highly paid dem operatives that think up these games.
It’s not a “silly side issue.” Using AI to falsify the amount of your support is just a step away from using AI to create images to smear your opponent. I work with AI daily in my job, and that supposed airport photo, and a couple of the Harris-Walz rally photos, are obviously at least enhanced with AI.
