Every time I see Trump without the words “inflation” or “border” in the story it’s depressing.
I hadn’t seen this story till now, but just had upset conservatives over who were snarling about “who gives a damn about the crowd size!!”
It’s not pearl clutching, everyone I know is upset and saying Trump needs to listen to good advice. Then they say, of course he won’t.

Why? If they will fabricate, lie about and intentionally embellish the size of their events, would they not lie about everything else?

Donald Trump talks for several hours every day. He talks about all sorts of things. He would be quite boring if he only talked about policy. The news media doesn’t want to talk about his positions on policy. Why are people surprised when the media reports on his side conversations? They listen to every single word he says hoping for a chance to catch him exaggerating or making a joke so they can say he is “lying or distorting”. When you read stuff like this it’s because that is what is being written. Then you say damn Trump hit them on policy. You have been played by the media.

Suggestion for Trump campaign on immigration: Use line that the illegals are “cutting the line”. Putting it this removes the sympathy that Democrats evoke for illegals and draws recognition to the fact that we allow millions of legal immigrants in and the illegals are cutting the line. A simple phrase but no one likes someone that cuts the line.
