These kinds of things go viral on social media. The younger crowd (gen Z) would much rather talk about this than boring ‘issues’.
It’s not a “silly side issue.” Using AI to falsify the amount of your support is just a step away from using AI to create images to smear your opponent. I work with AI daily in my job, and that supposed airport photo, and a couple of the Harris-Walz rally photos, are obviously at least enhanced with AI.
