Former President Jimmy Carter says he hopes to cast his ballot for Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming election.
As Carter nears his 100th birthday, beating former President Trump is one of the only things on his mind.
“I’m only trying to make it to vote for Kamala Harris,” Carter told his son Chip, his grandson Jason Carter told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Carter’s 100th birthday is on Oct. 1. He first entered hospice care in Feb. 2023 and has outlived his wife, Rosalynn Carter, who died last November.

This guy is politically hopeless although spiritually saved by grace (as we all are).
I wonder if he could vote for Harris once he’s in the grave.

As a devout Christian how can he possibly support an ideology so diametrically opposed? Can people such as Carter, who automatically vote Democrat, actually understand what they are supporting? I’m afraid most churches are full of such folks. By voting Democrat they are saying yes, I agree with everything my side is advocating. Sad. I’m of the opinion God will hold us responsible for such.

Jimmy must be feeling nostalgic about the good old days of high-inflation and high mortgage prices he brought to the country as president. Biden and Kamala remind him of those ‘good times’.
Makes me wonder how many early votes should be null because the voter died before election day. Early voting should be illegal if only for this reason
