Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said there are plans to roll out major overhauls to the Supreme Court if Democrats win control of the White House and both chambers of Congress.
Calls for implementing stricter rules for the Supreme Court from the Left have escalated in recent years, as complaints about alleged corruption and ethical lapses have plagued Republican-appointed justices.
Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito have been targeted by campaigns calling into question their relationships with GOP megadonors and their wives’ political involvement.
“The Supreme Court has become a morass, both ethically and substantively,” Schumer told NBC News. “We’re going to look at everything. There are lots of proposals.”
Without the support of Republicans, Democrats’ plans to implement an enforceable ethics code mandating justices disclose all gifts and financial contributions, as well as strict rules for recusing themselves from cases, are almost impossible to implement.
Schumer said Democrats also plan to pursue President Joe Biden’s stated goal of instituting 18-year term limits for justices, as well as an end to “forum shopping,” a practice in which litigants choose to have their cases heard before friendly judges in specific divisions.
The majority leader introduced a bill on Thursday called the “No Kings Act” to roll back the Supreme Court’s presidential immunity ruling. If successful, this would mean that a president would not be immune from prosecution for “official acts.”
Republicans see Schumer and Biden’s demands as a way to play offense, juicing Democratic excitement in an election year and undermining the Republican-appointed majority.

I’m not sure you understand. The House, Senate, and the Sumpreme Court will not matter anymore. The Constitution and legal powers of the different branches will be gone. They will simply be window dressing to fool us into thinking they are representing us. This will be true no matter who controls them. The shadow government and fourth branch of government will be in control of them all. They already are now but just shy of total irreversible control. If a Dem wins it will be set in stone and completely irreversible.
They won’t win the Senate this November. It is over for them.

Once again, it won’t matter who has the Senate. It will no longer be “business as usual”. And no they will not be over, They have almost total control now. In fact they have such redundancy in place, 50 years worth, and it will have to be an accident for Trump to win.
I don’t like it at all, but that is the reality of it.
In response, the coming Republican majority should introduce legislation to disband and prohibit government employees from forming and/or joining any unions.
Government unions, which previous democrat presidents were against, are money laundering schemes.
The unions were created for the specific purpose of charging union dues, which are then donated to democrat candidates for office.
It’s not chump change, either. Hundreds of millions of dollars.
So democrats have scammed taxpayers by forcing them to pay government employees union dues, which are then donated to hard left democrats.
They’ve been doing this for decades.
If the democrats want to play hardball, then welcome to the New Republican Party, no longer run by the pussy RINOs, but by MAGA republicans.
We can and will eat these turkeys alive.
The only purpose for a union is to negotiate and secure wages, benefits and pensions for their members.
All of this is already guaranteed by Congress, which has the power of taxation to guarantee everything government workers require.
The idea of unionized government workers is an oxymoron, and a slap in the face of hard working taxpayers.
So bring it on, Chuck. The unions are only the beginning.

They are going to remove him as fast as they can or tie his hands so tight he won’t even be able to do damage control. They are going to legislate us into Communism and override his vetos to do it. He has no friends on the hill, not even so called Republicans. At best he might be able to delay some of the damage for four years. After that we are in serious trouble because we won’t be able to stop them. A Republican will never again be elected President.
The Left has hidden and turned the pot up slowly. Better that they go all in now.They know that America hates their policies, just keep hammering them. Trump needs to avoid distractions. Calling her commie Kamala over and over again puts them on the Defensive. Hammer them constantly. They are bullies.

If they win big in November SCOTUS immediately becomes irrelevant anyway.

After Harris won not a single delegate in primaries, had to watch Biden clinch his 2020 nomination and then decline to run again, with millions in a setup primary voting for Biden, and many grumbled about her being a poor choice.
No citizens voted to have her nominated in an open Dem convention. She was chosen by an elite group of DC Dem insiders. Not the people “from the bottom up.”
Her bottoms up era began in her early political career, though.
