Ugh.
He should quit politics just for being a moron.
That is politics. He bet on the wrong horse in an attempt to further his ambitions. We all saw that video where he thought he was talking in private and revealed his attitude toward Trump. He sounded like Nikki Haley.
It’s always interesting to observe the aftermath of incumbents losing: genuine public servants go home, renew their ties to their community, and get on with their life while the “self servants” stay in Washington and continue to whore themselves out to the highest bidder.
Dang. They traded a Freedom Caucus member for a Kevin McCarthy protege?
This hits right in the gut. The GOP Establishment Empire strikes back; hard.
Wasn’t Good only one of 8 who had the guts to oust McCarthy back during the Speaker fights?
Were there any meaningful differences in the policy bent of these candidates? Enough to be worth a circular firing squad?
The GOP establishment wins again.
Trump supported Kevin McCarthy for Speaker of the House.
Bob Good (R-VW) and Matt Rosendale (R-MT) were key votes in ousting Kevin McCarthy.
Trump endorsed Bob Good and Matt Rosendale’s opponents. I expect the winners to have a less conservative voting record.
