Best post on the thread. It has my opinion of Congress trending in a positive direction for, I believe, the first time in my life time.
I read the article after reading your post, and learned a little bit more about the Freedom Caucus.
After Good endorsed DeSantis, one Freedom Caucus member endorsed Good’s opponent and was booted from the Caucus (presumably primarily courtesy of Good) for his pains.
One of the Caucus members (not two or more, but then again, not none) resigned from Caucus.
It is possible that, provided the challenger who defeated Good wins the seat, which seems likely the 435 members of Congress may have more men of at least decent integrity as the Supreme Court (which has Thomas and Alito).
If so, that will make two more than the Senate.
It also, for the first time in a long time, raises my estimation of the quality of Congress, which had been so low that the country song “From the Gutter to you Ain’t Up” applied. Likely it still applies, but the trend is good (or rather, given the primary result, the trend is not Good, but that’s good.)
