Carville: ‘Cat Lady’ Thing Will Haunt JD Vance — You Can’t Get ‘Weirder’

Democratic strategist James Carville said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that he believed former President Donald Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), would have a hard time getting away from his “cat lady” comments.

Carville said, “They’re not weird, they’re over the top. JD Vance is for something called menstrual surveillance. How much weirder can you get than that?”

He continued, “The whole outfit is obsessed and consumed with women’s reproductive decisions. They really are. And that is going to, that whole cat lady thing, man, that’s going to haunt him for a long time. Because what he said when you actually read it is even weirder than you think. He would rank voting how many children you have. Elon Musk has 12 kids. I mean the whole thing is just so unbelievably strange. And this is supposed to be what middle America is about? I don’t think so, man. I really don’t. I just don’t.”

Curious... my older sister is a cat lady, and was a die hard right winger. My oldest brother and his wife have, literally, tons of cats at their farm... and are right wing.

The hubs and I have several cats, and some accidental kittens, as well as two dogs... and we’re hard core right wingers... and we like Vance, a lot.

I think the idea that multiple animal house holds are filthy and chaotic is the stereotype... but not the rule. We just like lots of critters... and we keep them clean and well taken care of.

They bring a good vibe to the house.

Three weeks ago they were calling Trump “Hitler” and “an existential threat to Democracy!” Then they almost killed him and realized they needed to tone down the rhetoric or they’d get blamed for it. Now they’ve settled on “weird” which is so opposite Hitler that’s it’s ridiculous. I think we should reply with similar playground epithets like “poopyhead” or “oddball” or “strange.” 🤣

I know several abortion worshipers without children, alone, and with cats. A few facing end of life living circumstances without surviving children to assist in their departure from this life.
