Iran says France should be ashamed of itself for its opening ceremony at the Olympics.

"The insulting representation of Jesus Christ in Paris yesterday was completely offensive and crossed all red lines.

France, a country with a major history of Christianity, must be ashamed of itself, and I implore our Christian people all over the world to speak out against this act. We resolutely condemn this."

those places. Right now you can find people online talking
about persecution of Christians in Iran.

Yes, its not as free as its here. But, they are allowed to be there, and be Christian. Iran has some of the fastest evangelical growth in the world.

There is no persecution of Christians or Jews in other Islamic areas, because they aren't allowed to have that faith or worship. They simply don't exist there to be persecuted. Iran has a liberal view on religions compared to other $hitholes.

This is not religious freedom. Further, it only takes one
leader who has a very dim view of Christians, and he has an
open door to make life very hard for Christians.

Quit saying Christians are free to worship openly and freely
in Iran. It’s just not true and we both know it.

You're incapable of understanding that there is Christians there. Not only Christians, but Jews and other religions. There is temples and churches in Iran. They are able to worship there and hold political office in Tehran. Understand? Yes, there is often arrests, sometimes that's under the guise of something else.

You will not find Christians in other 'Islamic' countries. There is no churches in Saudi Arabia, no Jewish Temples, etc. Get it? Put that rage at other countries that don't allow churches or temples at all. Travel, see the world, meet other religions and talk to people.
