Iran says France should be ashamed of itself for its opening ceremony at the Olympics.
"The insulting representation of Jesus Christ in Paris yesterday was completely offensive and crossed all red lines.
France, a country with a major history of Christianity, must be ashamed of itself, and I implore our Christian people all over the world to speak out against this act. We resolutely condemn this."

France has reached the peak of Mt. Stupid, fell off and is climbing up again.
Bergoglio is the false pope of prophecy.
“ I stand with Iran and all other religious conservatives everywhere”
Ditto.
The Islam religion traces its way back to Ishmael who was the son of Abraham as we Jacob and Esau. There were some tangential exegetic references to Esau as well as Jacob the clear lineage to Joseph. Jacob sons were the fathers of the 12 tribes of Israel and the 4th eldest was Judah the lineage of David from which Jesus descends.
Ishmael was the first son of Abraham with Hagar and always at odds with the Jacobean lineage. Islam recognizes Ishmael to be an early prophet of Islam. But Ishmael is a son of Jacob who had three wives. I am simply pointing out the history. It is recorded in the word. You don’t have an argument with me, you have an argument against God. Good luck with that.
G, you’ve really got to make a better effort at times.
[If that’s your real name.]
It’s not a religion.
It’s a scam. Always has been, always will be.
(Abrahamic) Pre-Christic Judaism was the One True Faith.
Then the Son of the living God arrived, and trod the earth.
***Ever since that time***, (Abrahamic) Christianity has been the One True Faith.
You’re welcome.
the Son of the living God
I don’t disagree with you. But we as the faithful are given the law and the history to u destined the fulfillment of the gospel. You do know there is this thing called the Old Testament which is divinely inspired so we know how we got to where we are today. I make no comment as to the the validity of Islam as a religion. I simply commented to someone else the history God has chosen to reveal to us at this end of the age. Seems to be you are a bit like Ishmael who is always looking for a fight and to divide.
But hey, if you are satisfied with a shallow understanding of the faith perhaps it that is what is best for you. I offer no judgment. But point out one errant thing I have said. Islam traced through Ishmael by Abraham having a son with Hagar against the command of God points to sin keading to a divided and violent world. In fact the scripture records that the sins of the father Are visited into the third and fourth generations.
Knowing the consequence of sin and the world divided offers us understanding of why we are how we are. It also points to the absolutely need for the savior who comes to us through the house and lineage of David. It is through this understanding that we come to know not only our desperate need for atonement but that we cannot accomplish this on our own. The law, you see, points to the gospel. The only hope for salvation for those of who are not Gods chosen people.
I will certainly pray for you it might be good to revisit the scripture surrounding those who sow seeds of dissent within the church of Christ. If we are to accept the word as the inerrant word of God, and that the faithful of Christ will be known by their love, then one can certainly surmise that your words professing your faith and you words of unkindness are in conflict. I seem to recall something about the brood of vipers. You might want to look it up.
In any event, I will pray for peace for you and that you might find the peace that passes understanding and to reflect the love of the Savior
Good night.
There's a group of (probably paid) neocons who accept, and even promote, globohomo and marxism, so they can never deviate, even in the slightest, from their very specific agenda.
Same here.
A stopped clock and all.
Christianity is dying.
The alternative to Christianity is not secular humanism, which rules all formerly Christian nations.
The alternative is Islam.
“ They do consider Jesus a prophet just as the Jews do”
Don’t know too many Jews, huh?
I became aware of that some years ago. That does not stop
the reality that Islam is in direct conflict with Christianity.
The Iran leadership persecutes Christians in Iran to this
very day. It isn’t a wink and a nod disagreement with the
government where nothing is done to coerce Christians.
Christians are under threat of their very lives.
To spread the idea that Iran revers Christianity and wishes
to defend it, is to buy into a massive untruth. It can lead
folks to think Iran has moderated, and is perfectly willing
to live in peace with Christianity.
NO IT ISN’T!
I believe we do agree, so please don’t think this is directed
at you.
I wanted to give you a chance to read my most recent comments.

You are incorrect in your assessment of Iran and it’s true
status with regard to Christians.
Contemporary statements from the region are flying in the
face of what you just stated.
Christians are having hardship in Iran today.
I believe the structure of their government can be used to
deny what I am saying, but at the end of the day the
Mullah’s can do whatever they want.
They get the final say. I don’t believe that any non firm
Islamic adherent is allowed to be in a command position.
Mosques are taking over a lot of Christian churches in the US
at this time. Check that out if you think Islam expects to
live side by side with Christian churches.
Damned if you don’t sound like an “outed” AI phantom, squirming on the hook.
“Khomeini actually went and wished the hostages a Merry
Christmas and emphasized the Islamic belief that Jesus was
the greatest prophet until Mohamed and His message was co
opted by Paul.”
Not trying unnecessarily to be argumentative, as much as
seeking clarification here.
The Khomeini I am familiar with was a big player in the
hostage Crisis during the 1980 Reagan presidential run for
office.
I’d not heard that he approached the hostages and spoke
kindly about Christ. I am also not convinced he saw
Christians as essentially another wing of Islam, one he
could have lived with.
Islam teaches to subjugate all other religions. It is the
only recognized non-heretical religion, according to their
teachings.
As for his message, how could Paul have co-opted his message
when Paul lived around 50-150 AD*, 1,825-1,925 years prior
to the Ayatollah Khomeini?
* Someone correct me if I’m somewhat off on the time frame of
the life of Paul. The situation would remain the same due
to the span between the two men.
Assuming more sources can verify this, that just kind of messes up my bingo card for the year. First, we had BLM not wanting Harris, now this.
